Review Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Tablet

Standard fare, delicately flavored. Appearing to be just another tablet at first glance, the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is an interesting mix of software features for both business users and consumers alike. The technical specifications are absolutely...

Flawless workmanship ; Low weight ; Agreeably slim ; Extensive software configuration ; Great screen ; High mobility thanks to UMTS ; Very good wifi module ; Long battery life

Only average resolution ; Average cameras ; Moderate speakers ; Not very rigid ; HDMI only via adapter ; Hard-to-feel power button

That although Fujitsu proves to be rather conservative in terms of the processor's clock rates, there is no negative impact on the performance. And the software bundle including numerous professional business tools is unique in the tablet field

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

The business-centric Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Android tablet boasts a rugged build and extra layers of security. We just wish it lasted longer on a charge.

Soft-touch back is pleasant to hold; Ruggedized design; Extra security features; Bright display; Accurate audio

Low resolution for price; Screen picks up fingerprints easily; Low maximum volume; Short battery life

Click to EnlargeThe Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is a niche Android tablet that will appeal to businesses looking for extra durability and security features. The display is also plenty bright, and we like the soft-touch finish on the back. However, this...

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

Android-powered tablets have largely been a consumer play so far. While it's common to see tablets in retail, transportation, and other businesses, they're by and large Windows XP/7 or iOS devices. Fujitsu, a big name in enterprise, aims to change that...

Thin and light design. Above-average durability. Absolute Computrace security built-in. Good overall performance

Inaccurate touch screen. HDMI out requires dock. Below average display. Disappointing battery life

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is a high-end Android tablet that does a lot of things right, but its high price tag and specialized features make it an enterprise-only product.

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

Until now, Fujitsu's Stylistic line of tablets brought to mind powerful Windows 7-based slates, such as the Stylistic Q550 Slate PC that we looked at back in mid-2011. Designed primarily as notebook replacements for business and enterprise users,...

MIL-STD-810G military-standard durability ; Strong performance ; Better-than-average security features ; No bloatware

Subpar screen ; No HDMI output ; A little pricey, considering competition ; Short battery life

This 10.1-inch Android slate, the first we've seen with a military-grade durability rating, performs well, but the battery life and screen quality are lacking. It justifies its over-$500 price only if you genuinely need the extra toughness.

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Review

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is the company's push for a presence into the growing Android tablet universe, and regardless of the claims that there are only so many ways to design a rectangular tablet, it is a looker, and a tough one at that, conforming...

Slimmest and lightest rugged tablet chassis ; A rich suite of licensed enterprise-friendly apps

No HDMI-out port

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 MSRP is about $550, which is roughly the initial going rate for a 10” tablet with 32GB of internal memory and SIM card slot for data. It, however, adds a military standard toughness to the mix, so you can be comfortable with...

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 review

Fujitsu's Android tablet is aimed at business users, but packs features that will appeal to people in general rather than just for business users.

Full HD Gorilla Glass display ; Free Norton Tablet Security ; 3G compatability ; microSD connectivity

No HDMI connectivity ; Tinny speakers ; Average battery life ; YouTube lag

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 tablet review

We take a look at Fujitsu's latest Android tablet, the Stylistic M532, to see if it's up to scratch

Looks good,Well built,Android Ice Cream Sandwich,No interface overlay,Fast,MicroSD,Plenty of onboard storage

Terrible display,Expensive,3G is temperamental,Poorly balanced weight makes it cumbersome,Proprietary charging port

A decent enough tablet but somewhat overpriced and the poor screen lets it down

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 review

Fujitsu is taking the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend in the workplace seriously with the introduction of the Stylistic M532, an Android-based tablet that is designed to have the same consumer appeal as the iPad or Asus Transformer Prime, but with...

Lightweight, responsive, built-in security and productivity tools

Non-removable battery, proprietary charging connector

Fujitsu's Stylistic M532 could hold its own against any other Android tablet as a consumer device, but the integration of key security and productivity tools make this model a much more compelling prospect for business and professional users.
