Review Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Tablet

Standard fare, delicately flavored. Appearing to be just another

Flawless workmanship; Low weight; Agreeably slim; Extensive software configuration; Great screen; High mobility thanks to UMTS; Very good wifi module; Long battery life

Only average resolution; Average cameras; Moderate speakers; Not very rigid; HDMI only via adapter; Hard-to-feel power button

Tablets with a 10.1-inch screen and fast multi-core CPUs are a dime a dozen. However, since Fujitsu's Stylistic M532 is currently one of the best tablets, in our opinion, it has to face up to the tablet elite. The following devices emerged in our...

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

Android-powered tablets have largely been a consumer play so far. While it's common to see tablets in retail, transportation, and other businesses, they're by and large Windows XP/7 or iOS devices. Fujitsu, a big name in enterprise, aims to change that...

Thin and light design. Above-average durability. Absolute Computrace security built-in. Good overall performance

Inaccurate touch screen. HDMI out requires dock. Below average display. Disappointing battery life

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is a high-end Android tablet that does a lot of things right, but its high price tag and specialized features make it an enterprise-only product.

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

The business-centric Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Android tablet boasts a rugged build and extra layers of security. We just wish it lasted longer on a charge.

Soft-touch back is pleasant to hold; Ruggedized design; Extra security features; Bright display; Accurate audio

Low resolution for price; Screen picks up fingerprints easily; Low maximum volume; Short battery life

Click to EnlargeThe Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is a niche Android tablet that will appeal to businesses looking for extra durability and security features. The display is also plenty bright, and we like the soft-touch finish on the back. However, this...

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Review

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is the company's push for a presence into the growing Android tablet universe, and regardless of the claims that there are only so many ways to design a rectangular tablet, it is a looker, and a tough one at that, conforming...

Slimmest and lightest rugged tablet chassis ; A rich suite of licensed enterprise-friendly apps

No HDMI-out port

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 MSRP is about $550, which is roughly the initial going rate for a 10” tablet with 32GB of internal memory and SIM card slot for data. It, however, adds a military standard toughness to the mix, so you can be comfortable with...

Fujitsu Stylistic M532

Until now, Fujitsu's Stylistic line of tablets brought to mind powerful Windows 7-based slates, such as the Stylistic Q550 Slate PC that we looked at back in mid-2011. Designed primarily as notebook replacements for business and enterprise users,...

MIL-STD-810G military-standard durability ; Strong performance ; Better-than-average security features ; No bloatware

Subpar screen ; No HDMI output ; A little pricey, considering competition ; Short battery life

This 10.1-inch Android slate, the first we've seen with a military-grade durability rating, performs well, but the battery life and screen quality are lacking. It justifies its over-$500 price only if you genuinely need the extra toughness.

The Folio Case(FPCCC180) case which I bought for Fujitsu Stylistic, bulky not slim and if you want charge you need keep open screen cover, otherwise you can't plug charger.

I have this tablet a week now and I am very pleased with it. The first thing I noticed about the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is that it is very light, and thick 8.6 millimeters, the tablet can be called ultra-slim. The front surface is covered by a layer of...

However I have a few gripes though, while Google recently released Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Stylistic M532 uses the still-new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with the 4.0.3 update

awesome tab!!!

If you are having second thoughts BC this is a Fujitsu product and not Samsung or iPad, stop because this is an excellent product I purchased at nearly half the price of those other brands.

I was searching for a fairly powerful tablet for a moderate price, I found it runs great and I love ice cream sand which OS. I am writing this review with it at a coffee shop and could not be more happy

It did not come with the perfect case! Otherwise none :)

Fujitsu STYLISTIC M532 - battery dead on arrival - it's has been slow to get a replacement from Newegg --- SLOW replacement procedure!

I am a loyal Newegg's customer. I do hope for some improvement in the speed of broken item replacement on Newegg's part. The customer should not be penalized for manufacturing QA problem. Thank you!

The unit is brand new, looks nice

battery is dead on arrival - charged the whole day but still got 0% battery ; Newegg instructed to return and get replacement. It's been almost a week. I just hope the replacement, given that the QA problem has inconvenienced a customer, could have...

Very displeased with tablet. Have purchased Fujitsu laptops in past and loved them.

Light, easy to hold. simple.Newegg best price

No software included beyond the ICS OS. Ordered straight from Fujitsu and paid $50 higher. Bleeding back light in display. Poor video from 8M rear camera

Fujitsu's Android tablet is aimed at business users, but packs features that will appeal to people in general rather than just for business users.

Full HD Gorilla Glass display ; Free Norton Tablet Security ; 3G compatability ; microSD connectivity

No HDMI connectivity ; Tinny speakers ; Average battery life ; YouTube lag
