HP EliteBook Revolve review

Today, touchscreen PCs are often thought of as a consumer device rather than a business tool, but that perception was once the reverse. Before the smartphone, the iPad, and Windows 8, convertibles like Lenovo's ThinkPad X-Series and the HP EliteBook...

Durable construction with grippy exterior ; Lots of ports (for the size) ; Great keyboard ; Strong processor and storage performance

Mediocre battery life ; Small touchpad ; Dim display ; Very loud at full load

Mediocre battery life and a dim display hold the Revolve back, but it’s still a reasonable alternative to the Helix for businesses small and large.

HP EliteBook Revolve

A long time ago, laptops used to very occasionally convert into tablets but we never made a big deal out of it. They had rotating screens and touch, and were business-oriented. The problem back then was that these laptops weren't particularly useful...

A compact magnesium alloy body and sturdy design make the EliteBook Revolve 810 a great laptop to work on.

Disappointing battery life, high price, and slightly thicker body than more consumer-targeted systems.

HP’s EliteBook Revolve 810 is a good first step toward a very portable business laptop-tablet hybrid, but lack of a killer battery life hurts it.

This EliteBook boasts a lengthy battery life and durable yet stylish design. It also comes equipped with two USB 3.0 ports

The device lacks the latest and greatest processor and an HDMI port, and the webcam is only 720p

The EliteBook Revolve 810 G1 is a high-end business device that delivers great performance and durability.
