I wasnt sure how much I would use this item but I use is daily. The price was awesome and I find it very user friendly. I would highly recommend this.

Our family are heavy users of kindles from it's inception. We like the LCD, as amazon continues to improve this product. Since the HD replaces theLCD we got it at a discount, but I'd be willing to pay up for the newest iteration.

not having an external keyboard option. IF I had that, I would use this instead of my ipad, and give this 5 stars. But for now, it's a great reader, media viewer, email device, and net surfer. I added the Antek explorer and drop box client to download...

Even though I returned this item, I really do think it's a good device overall. The price is obviously the best selling point (I was able to buy mine for $129 at a promotional price), the screen is great, I love how it works with my Amazon Prime...

I bought this expecting it to have all the features mentioned in the new Kindle Fire releases since this was a revised version, but it does not. I plan to give this to my son, but wanted to time limit features that apparently only come on the Kindle...

Come on Amazon, you are going to rip off the iPad so exactly and then claim yours is the greatest thing ever? Ridiculous. Try being original and coming up with something unique. That is what the iPad was, and you just copied it.
