A 12in touchscreen convertible, does the latest Lifebook do enough to see off the sudden influx of true tablets?

Heavy for a 12in notebook and not as fast as a tablet, the Lifebook T730 no longer makes the case for a convertible

Fujitsu - LIFEBOOK T730

Fujitsu's T730 updates a long line of convertible Tablet PCs from the company. This latest model allows you to choose a version incorporating GPS, something that is still quite rare in standard notebooks, though you do ...

The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK T730 is not an inexpensive Tablet PC but it is well made and we like the finger touch features on the screen. The build is good, while battery life acceptable but not outstanding.

This is the BEST buy for the buck I have found. Fujitsu designed the nearly perfect laptop with every feature you could ask for and are willing to support it even when 3 - 5 years old. Thankyou Fujitysu and New Egg for the great buy.

Does all the things I was looking for, Swival screen, long lasting batteries, touch screen/WIN7, usable bluetooth, great wireless connectivity. Cons are: It weighs 5.1 Lbs including the extra battery and finding up todate bluetooth drivers was a pain...

The laptop makes a high pitched noise just like the user before me stated. This high pitched noise is extremely irritating and it is hard to keep focus. Also the touchpad was very flaky for me, but I installed some different drivers and the problem...
