Review Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 18382DG Tablet/MID

Business slimline. This 10-inch tablet with IPS display, 1280 resolution, wifi, GPS and 3G modem, and 64 GB SSD should delight Lenovo's ThinkPad customer base. The price: 666 Euros. Matt display? Sadly not. But: a digitizer pen! ...

IPS display; Good screen contrast; Large viewing angles; Corning Gorilla Glass; Capacitive 6-finger multi-touch panel; Good battery life; Large hard drive

Glossy display; Extremely long charging time; Case sometimes creaks; Gets very warm in places; Heavy; Only one loudspeaker

The IPS display has very large viewing angles, vibrant colours and good contrast

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2

Lenovo, maker of the fabled ThinkPad brand, has had a long and storied history with touch-screen laptop/tablet hybrids. At a time years ago when most other PC makers wouldn't go near the tiny convertible tablet market, there was always a ThinkPad model...

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is the best-looking Atom Windows 8 tablet yet, and the optional keyboard dock is excellent. All-day battery life makes it great for travel.

The Tablet 2 is expensive, especially considering the small 64GB SSD, lack of USB 3.0, and generally slow Atom performance.

This Windows 8 tablet from Lenovo scores with great industrial design and battery life, but adding practically required accessories makes the ThinkPad Tablet 2 very expensive for what you get.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet

Apparently, the whole world's gone crazy for tablets (or, at least one of them). A tablet makes the perfect ultraportable companion for browsing the Web, checking e-mail, and watching movies on the go. But if tablets represent the future of portable...

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet has several business-oriented features that should bring a smile to the IT crowd, along with digital pen support and a beautiful screen

The tablet is relatively thick and heavy, with unnecessary navigation buttons and uninspired Android interface optimizations

If your IT department could design a tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet would be it.

Lenovo adds ThinkPad X1 to laptop comparison guide, outs IPS screen, USB 3.0, and optional SSDTurkish company builds 65-inch Android 'tablet' with Honeycomb, 1080p support (video)Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet gets probed by the FCC, will play nicely with all...

Full-sized USB port and SD slot, 1080p output ; Offers remote control features for IT managers ; Accepts pen input -- a rarity for Android tablets

Bulky design, display isn't always responsive ; Sluggish performance, long boot time ; Handwriting recognition software isn't very precise

The ThinkPad Tablet's pen input, port selection and security features don't quite make up for its poky performance and not-so-responsive display.

An accurate digital pen and robust software and security make the ThinkPad Tablet a compelling device for mobile professionals.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Review

Today we have the Lenovo ThinkPad tablet on the review board. The ThinkPad has the body of a tablet but the head for business. Running on Android 3.1 Honeycomb, but filled with years of business and consumer laptop thoughts and ideas thanks to Lenovo....

While the ThinkPad tablet offers a great overall user experience for many users, the added features I just don’t see being all that useful unless you truly need them. I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve spent with it but would be equally happy with the...

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Review: A Tablet That Means Business

With the ThinkPad Tablet, Lenovo distinguishes itself as the first company with two tablets clearly aimed at two different markets. The company did a solid job with its consumer-focused IdeaPad K1, released in midsummer. The ThinkPad Tablet (starting...

Digitizer allows pen input ; Pleasing display quality

USB port awkward for flash drive use ; Looks bulky, and feels heavy in hand

Ports and software distinguish this business-centric tablet, which holds appeal for non-business users, too.

For connectivity, you get 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, and there's that aforementioned SIM slot to add cellular connectivity. Lenovo says the tablet will work with AT&T and Sprint's 3G networks here in the U.S., and also supports global GSM roaming.

Full-sized USB 2.0 port. Optional 3G. Excellent, though optional, keyboard folio case and accurate stylus pen

A bit chunky. Frequent app crashes in our tests. Occasionally unresponsive screen. Subpar battery life

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet boasts excellent accessories that can transform the tablet into an on-the-go business machine. But short battery life and some stability issues make it a questionable choice for casual and corporate users alike.

Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet Keyboard Folio Case Quick Review

I managed to get my hands on the Thinkpad Tablet Keyboard Folio Case from Lenovo recently, fairly cheaply. I hadn't worried about one before as I found that the Tablet was fine without it for my current needs, but the offer was too attractive to knock...
