Review Lenovo IdeaTab A2109A Tablet

Budget Performer. Lenovo updates the IdeaTab A series with both 7

Safety frame made of metal and an aluminium case; High contrast ratio; Good speakers; Mini-HDMI port and a Micro-SD card reader; Two microphones; Front and back cameras

Very poor viewing angles; Display is not very bright; Outdoor use is limited; Average User Interface performance; Average battery life; Color reproduction is limited; Flimsy microSD cover

For under $300, the A2109 offers a large 9-inch display that is surprisingly good for movies with HDMI-out and external storage options that are notoriously missing in smaller tablets such as the Kindle Fire or Nexus 7.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

The Google Nexus 7 and the New Apple iPad are our two top-rated tablets, representing the best combinations of price, performance, and features in small- and large-screen sizes. The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109, with an uncommon 9-inch display but a fair $299...

Affordable for a large-screen tablet. Fast Tegra 3 processor. Integrated microSD and micro HDMI ports

Chunky design. Mediocre display

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 is a typical midrange Android tablet that does little to distinguish itself from the pack, save for its in-between 9-inch screen size.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

Android tablets in the 9-inch range aren't as plentiful as 7 and 10-inch models, and that's a shame. This in-between category offers a nice balance, with a screen big enough to comfortably read a full-layout magazine or watch a video and an overall...

Solid and attractive design ; Long battery life ; Smooth, fast performance ; Well-designed UI

Display has poor viewing angles ; Heavy for its size ; MicroSD slot difficult to access

Once again, Lenovo came really close to making a great tablet, but one major flaw keeps the IdeaPad A2109 from a wholehearted recommendation.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

It's time to have a peek at Lenovo's next big crack at the tablet game with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a massive set of built-in apps on a quad-core processor-toting 9-inch tablet by the name of IdeaTab A2109 . This device's NVIDIA Tegra 3...

This device is a good effort from Lenovo, but put up in a competition against the rest of the Tegra 3 tablets we've seen, it's just a bit lacking. If you're looking for a 9-inch tablet with NVIDIA processing power inside it, this is your best bet,...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

First unveiled during IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany, the IdeaTab A2109 is one of two recently released Android 4.0 tablets from Lenovo.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 sports a snappy quad-core CPU, features expandable storage and an HDMI output, and is reasonably priced at $300.

The IdeaTab A2109's display is unimpressive, it has a bulky build, and it has disappointing video recording quality.

Despite having a decent price tag and zippy processor, the Lenovo IdeaTab A2109's screen is just too drab to consider.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 Review

Just like the other PC vendors making the plunge into the competitive Android tablet market, Lenovo is getting its feet wet with the newly available Lenovo IdeaTab A2109. Instead of being forgotten amongst the heap of other comparable options out...

300 price point for a 9-inch tablet ; NVIDIA quad-core CPU ; Brushed metallic casing

Low quality display ; Muddy quality with photo/video capture

Being a relatively new player in the Android tablet space, Lenovo clearly has the formula in conjuring up a respectable tablet – albeit, they still have a lot to learn before being regarded as a contender. When we think of value, there's no denying...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109

Lenovo is a relative newcomer in the world of tablets, but the IdeaTab A2109 does a decent job at getting their foot in the door and off to a good start. We like the sturdy design of the tablet as well as the speed of the device, but it could use some...

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 review

Lenovo has been slowly edging into the Android tablet space for the past few years, releasing a slew of IdeaTabs. However, despite generally being adequate machines, the tablets have by and large been ignored by the general public.

Solid build quality, good battery life, fast processor, upgradable storage options, cheap

Poor screen, boxy design, software additions aren't great, cameras are only good for video calling

A solidly built, powerful Android tablet that is let down by a poor display and detrimental software additions.

"Exceptional value,. Very few downsides to this tablet."

In this price range, and above 7 inches, there is no other tablet that has this combination of good CPU/memory spec, solid build quality and also includes GPS. It is a very good buy.

Solid construction.

Other reviewers say the screen is poor, however I've experienced no real issues with it.
