Review Samsung 10.1" Galaxy Tab 2 Tablet/MID

Little progress. The Galaxy Tab 2 series represents Samsung's rev

long battery life; fast 3G module; modest weight; decent display

poor sound; mean performance

The 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 2 must compete with all current 10-inch tablets. These include but are not limited to the Apple iPad 3, Asus Transformer Tab TF300T, and Acer Iconia Tab A200. However, due to its comparatively slow CPU, it also competes against...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 Review

We have had a love-hate relationship with Samsung's 7-inch tablets. The first one, the P1000 was downright ridiculous as it was bulky, glitchy and simply too expensive, especially with the iPad coming at a similar price. The one thing that was good was...

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 is priced at Rs. 19,900 (MRP). Besides the camera, Samsung has managed to get everything correct with the Tab 2 310, including the price tag. Currently, in this price bracket, there’s not much to compete against it, so if...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is 1mm thicker and 14 grams / 0.49 oz lighter than its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that was introduced last year during Google I/O. The 10-inch Tab second generation features a more [...]

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 delivers good performance packaged in a nice design for a reasonable price ($399.99). At that price point, the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 (32GB) offers a lower build-quality packaged in a heavier body (1.28 pounds vs. 1.39...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (Sprint)

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was one of the premier Android tablets when it launched in 2011, with specs that, at the very least, matched top-tier Android tablets at the time.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a well-designed tablet with powerful speakers, a responsive screen, and expandable storage.

The tablet is overpriced, its dual-core CPU has trouble running large 1080p movies smoothly, and its screen color accuracy isn't as high as the previous Tab 10.1's.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes up short in performance, features, and value compared with competing tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Review

In the last year, Samsung has released more tablets than you can shake a stick at. So many, in fact, that it has run out of sensible ways to name them all, leaving us with the new “Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.” No it's not the second Galaxy Tab, and it...

Runs Android 4.0 ; Front-facing speakers ; Solid construction ; microSD card slot

400 price is a bit high ; Poor front and back cameras ; Larger than last year's Galaxy Tab 10.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is not a bad tablet, but it's also almost identical, and in some ways inferior, to last year's Galaxy Tab 10.1.

More Info Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 hands-on (video) PSA: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Player 4.2 now available online When we review a second-generation product there are certain things we tend to take for...

Thin and light design ; Healthy battery life ; IR blaster and universal remote app

Terrible camera, even for a tablet ; Display is sometimes unresponsive ; Performance trails similarly priced tablets

The second-gen 10.1 is a good enough Android 4.0 tablet with a pleasing, lightweight design and decent battery life. Still, its performance and feature set trail tablets that cost the same or even less.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

A bright display, long battery life and a smart remote make Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 a compelling and affordable choice.

Click to EnlargeWith the addition of a microSD card slot and moving the speakers to the front of the tablet, Samsung has made some nice improvements to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, all while keeping the price below $400 and the battery life really long. Our...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review

Samsung is changing its approach to tablets. Rather than compete at the highest end with the iPad or the Transformer Prime, Samsung's aiming for a happy medium: all the features we've come to expect from an Android tablet, without necessarily top-notch...

Nice-looking design ; Runs Android 4.0 ; Affordable at $399.99 ; Neat universal remote functionality

Glitchy performance ; Android tablet app ecosystem is weak ; Poor camera

A $100 price advantage only buys you so much leeway

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Review

This week we've gotten the next Galaxy Player family member in the house with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. What's that, you say? The Galaxy Tab 2 is a tablet and not a Galaxy Player? I beg to differ, ladies and gentlemen, as the Samsung world has...

This tablet is made for those ladies and gentlemen who want the $100 discount off the lowest price on the newest iPad. Though this tablet is not made specifically to compete with the iPad, and it really wont, you’ll find it to be amongst the best...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review: Make it two

The question this second-generation Samsung tablet is trying to answer is not "How much better can it get?" The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 stops at how much. It feels safe pretending there's no such thing as a third-generation iPad.
