Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and 10.1 Review

Many of the core elements in the new line of Galaxy Pro offerings are similar –the displays for example are all WQXGA, and frankly that's probably the biggest selling point right there. Coming from the world of laptop reviews, it's awesome – and a...

Samsung is no stranger to the tablet market, and the latest refresh of the Galaxy Tab lineup shows their experience. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.3 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 are both good tablets, and the displays in particular are going to be worth the price of...

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's battery life falls short, but its sharp display, useful productivity apps and multitasking prowess make it a good Android tablet.

Beautiful high-resolution display; Compelling productivity apps; Engaging Magazine UX ; Expandable microSD storage

Mediocre audio; Much shorter battery life than rivals

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's battery life falls short, but its sharp display, useful productivity apps and multitasking prowess make it a good Android tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro ( 8.4-inch)

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 may not be one of the most affordable tablets around, but you get what you pay for in the best way possible. The 8.4-inch slate offers a comfortable design, a bounty of software features, solid hardware with smooth...

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 packs a sharp pixel-dense screen, zippy performance, and oodles of software features inside a comfortable and lightweight slate.

The $399.99 starting price is expensive. It's too easy to block the speakers and trigger the capacitive buttons unintentionally when holding the tablet in landscape orientation. Performance lags when using the multiwindow function.

The premium specs and high-end feel of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 make it well worth the high price.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 review: The Professional

With the tablet market reaching near-saturation, another slab that's just as thin, light and powerful as the rest of them will hardly bring crowds to the stores. Every maker is desperate to get some breathing space but few dare look for a space to call...

Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 is shaping as quite the beast. Its mid-size form factor and lightweight design makes Samsung's 8.4-inch highly portable, yet its specs sheet can easily make a geek drool. And it can already be bought for as low as $400,...

Gorgeous, high-res display ; Thin and lightweight ; Powerful hardware ; Main camera takes good photos ; Built-in IR blaster lets us control TVs and set-top boxes ; Comes with the newest Android release ; Nice Magazine UX optimized for tablet use

Speakers positioning isn't optimal for multimedia use ; Magazine UX can't be turned off

With a starting price of $400 (in the US), the Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4 is among the most expensive tablets of this caliber. It costs as much as a 2-gen iPad mini and $100 more than an LG G Pad 8.3, for that matter. But is this rather steep price tag...

Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 Review

The smallest of the new TabPRO line of tablets doesn't pack any less of a punch. Here's our review of the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4!

Priced at $399, you are definitely paying for a premium tablet, but it does live up to its price tag. The Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 provides all of the power the PRO name suggests, while keeping it all in a manageable size. While the tablet will let...

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 review

The Tab Pro 8.4 is one of Samsung's finest tablets.

Stunning display ; Lightweight, nice proportion ; Impressive performance

Expensive ; Cheap design ; Speakers poorly positioned

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 won't be the one grabbing the headlines in the new Tab Pro range, I suspect, but it's arguably the best of the lot.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 review

When it comes to tablet strategy Samsung has saturated the market with devices of all sorts of sizes, with varying specs and running on different platforms. There's plenty of scope for confusion, as well as plenty of choice.

Fantastic display, plenty of power, useful software additions

Auto brightness, speakers a little lacklustre, high price, plasticky build

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 review

The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro is the latest addition to the brand's tablet lineup. T3 was invited along for a sneak preview

Amazing display ; Smooth performance ; Thin and light

TouchWiz (again!) ; Faux leather ; metal ; Pricey

As with the Note Pro, what really impressed on the Tab Pro was the new Magazine UX UI, it's a very welcome change to the bog standard Android and ensures that the Tab and the Note are viable options for those looking for a tablet that does more than...
