Hanvon BC10

Hanvon's Windows 7 tablet has some interesting features, but sub-standard battery life and applications that don't take advantage of touch detract significantly.

Full Windows 7 functionality ; 10.1-inch display ; USB ports ; HDMI output

Very noisy ; Touch interface is twitchy ; Lots of Windows 7 software poorly optimised for touch ; Feels heavy in the hand

If 2010 is the year that tablets finally took hold, then the Hanvon BC10 harks back to Microsoft's earlier tablet PC offerings. It's not the BC10's fault that so much Windows software doesn't take touch commands into consideration, but any potential...

Hanvon Windows Tablet B10

The Hanvon B10 at $898 is expensive and heavy. Ironically it is located at the end of an aisle where several notebooks and nets are on sale for sub $600 all with similar capabilities to the Windows based tablet.

I have a hanvon, and at this point in time I think a 6.3 is a bit harsh. It doesn't use an Atom processor, which hurts battery life, but also makes it far more usable than your average netbook in terms of real performance. I have a Acer Aspire One,...

Hanvon BC10

I'm posting this on my bc10 and must say that I think the review was a bit skewed. For starters, I use my BC10 to downooad and playback (via the hdmi port) full 1080 avchd from my HD video camera. The BC10 manages this without a problem. Not sure...
