I bought my Hamilton Beach 22600 2-slice Toaster, about two years ago, from Wal-mart. I was coned into buying this attractive, reasonable priced toaster, mainly because of it's appearance.

Attractive, strong and reliable

Toasts one side, button release instead of lever release, Hard to keep clean

Warning! Will toast your fingers!

I bought this machine because of its name I expected a quality product even if expensive. In reality, not only I got a cheap piece of junk made in China, but also an hazard to one's and one's family safety! I can't believe that a company of the ...

Toasts, if you can get your bread out

Extreme danger: gets really hot and the short power cord prevents safe positioning

Great Toaster!

I bought this toaster about 1 year ago at a discount big box store here in Pittsburgh, Big Lots (not sure if they area national chain). I was moving into a new place and just needed to stock up on cheap basics. Typically, I am a big proponent of the...

Cool features, never overheats, accurate toasting

Stainless steel is not that easy to get clean - look streaky

A really nice toaster

I bout this toaster to finally replace the one that my husband had continually keep fixing (he is persistent). I am really happy with this toaster.

Great toaster with great features, attractive and easy to use

Gets hot... but come on, it's metal

Looks neat, but...

I bought this toaster a little over a year ago. I don't toast things very often, perhaps twice a week, but already the inner elements are dimming, and things now get toasted unevenly.

Nice styling, useful features

Doesn't work very well

good toaster, silly unnecessary features

This toaster works well, but clearly it was designed for people who are easily impressed. You know, the people who think a $7 faux antique picture frame looks nice. The people who pay a premium in boutique stores for imitation shabby chic when they...

even toasting, big slots, bagel function, looks nice, sounds nice

unnecessary features, eject by button rather than lever

Overall good toaster

I received this toaster as a wedding gift and we have had no problems with it. It's a nice looking toaster for the price and it does it's job. The bagel feature is great - it always toasts them to perfection. I would recommend this toaster.

Styling, function

Chrome requires polishing to keep the finger prints off

We've had ours less than a year. By the time the toast pops up, it's not done so we have to pop it down a second time. The problem is it doesn't pop up automatically when you do this, so you have to closely monitor the toast. Well, today we left the...

It's shiny

It could burn your house down

Lovin' My Retro Toaster-Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome

Over the years I've been rather embarrassed about the turnover of my small appliances. I'd love to blame the manufacturers, but I have to assume some responsibility also. I should have replaced my last toaster long ago, but I am stubborn so stuck with...

Retro chrome, extra wide slots, auto shutoff, "smart" functions

You must be careful not to burn yourself on the chrome
