Hate the new design, been buying the breville toaster off yourselves for years now, will not purchase anymore. The toasties are just not the same. Don`t know what you did but not a good change

Good appearance and small footprint if stored vertically

Does not toast evenly and does not seal edges (compared with much older two sandwich model). The clip to hold the two plates together is very difficult to use and does not give cofidence that it is sufficiently robust to do the job over time

Have yet to find a slice of bread that matches the toaster and due to this if you place anything slightly liquid (egg etc) or cheese once heated in the machine it will run into gaps between the hot plates and the machine, this then requires the machine...
