does excellent toast one or two slices.It could have been slightly higher wattage as the the toast is a bit on the dry side when toasted it needs good thick slices for best results ..... all round a good quality toaster though...

All in all though, the Russell Hobbs 18140 is a pretty good model. It might not be fancy and there are a few niggles, but in terms of toasting quality it’s absolutely fine. It’s easy to use, looks nice and creates tasty, well toasted toast.

This toaster was a great purchase. It was reasonably priced, simple to use and good looking, especially as there are other kitchen appliances such as kettles in the same style so you can match them. I especially like that the buttons light up blue.
