Bought one of these as reviews were excellent and we wanted to upgrade to a more reliable model. Sadly, after only a year, the top handle just broke off...we were disappointed to say the least, and now use heavy books to keep the lid down.

It is a bit big for most normal bread but otherwise heats up quickly and makes good toasties. Unfortunately as per other reviews the handle broke off after a month and so it went back for a refund.

I bought this for my daughter who loves toasted sandwiches. On second use, using average thickness bread and filling the handle snapped clean off!!! Really poor build quality for a product that retails above £40. Really disappointed. Waiting for...

This toaster is wonderful. I have one in the caravan and another at home. I use them at least 4 times a week and get perfect tasties every time. Would highly reccomend.
