Very disappointing find it very difficult to toast sandwich satisfactorily. To melt the filling the bread is by then almost burnt. I shall be going back to sandwich bags they are more reliable.

Makes delicious toasted sandwiches. Just follow the instructions provided. I use the cages most days, not just for sandwiches but also for bread of non-standard size, eg boule, crumpets etc, making it so much easier to remove from the toaster.

Works great even with slightly wider bread slices. Even better with sandwich bag
