Impractical

Purchased mainly for grilling cheese sandwiches and warming up buffalo wings / pizza. These are the foods that tend to drip and require frequent clean-up. Though this toaster comes with both, wire tray and a crumb tray, you can't use them at the same...

Nice look, aluminum finish, reasonable price

Hamilton Beach 31138

Can't really use it as an oven because of it's small capacity. You can buy a toaster that takes up less space and is cheaper. Barely fits a frozen pizza.

price, stainless steel, hinged crumb tray. It has an upper and lower heating element, a lot of cheap ovens only have upper elements. It makes great toast. heats up quick

You can barely fit two slices of toast in this. Door handle gets so hot you need an oven mitt to open it. Rotary mechanical timer instead of a temperature probe to determine when toast is done.

fast toasting

well constructed and toast up FAST, which translates to efficiency and saves power. the knobs are mostly metal, which is good that it might last longer compare to other toasters. overall has been serving us well for the past couple months. i expect it...

fast toasting, much faster than any of the compact oven based toasters i've used in the past. construction is also solid and mostly metal.

it's a bit small and depth is a bit shallow.

$30, on shell for $30...

Good oven.

This thing is normally $30 on newegg... today "shell shocker" .... on sale for.... you guessed it... $30... um... did I miss something with what shell shockers are?
