This piece of uselessness doesn't even deserve the 1 star I have to give it ! Even when it worked it made rubbish toast - took ages and turned the bread into something with the texture of Ryvita ! (the elements are too small and don't heat up enough),...

this is the worst toaster ever made we have been trying to use this in our guest house for nine people i have to start cooking the toast before the breakfast its that slow don't go near one of these unless you like watching paint dry

Just bought in a shop on impulse. Got home then checked reviews. Tested toaster to see how a Kenwood could be that bad and AGREE with the majority. It takes AGES and comes out like French toast. It's going back to the shop straight away. AVOID!

I purchased this toaster, purely because I was too lazy to shop around, and I am so pleased I did, it has proved to be excellent value for money, arrived within a few days, and accomodates toasties in addition to just bread.

Great design, easy to use, and does a brilliant job!! Now my wife and I can sit down and have toast in the morning together.

I never thought I could get so annoyed by a toaster!! This is so slow to brown the bread (which it only does in the centre anyway!!!) that it dries it to a crisp. Absolutely awful. Worst toaster ever. I would give it 0 stars if this were an option.

I am very pleased with this toaster. It is possible to toast 4 slices at the same time at 2 different settings. My only reservation is the speed, it seems rather slower than my old toaster.
