Will be shipped back. The center elements are weaker than the outside heating elements. Tried with different breads to be sure my eye were no deceiving me.

This toaster looks great, functions very well, and does what a toaster is supposed to do. I love the bagel setting, blue LED lights,and slide out crumb tray. Bread and bagels toast very evenly. The extra lift function is nice, but does not lift enough.
