It doesn't toast evenly and it doesn't have a bagel contol to toast only one side. I am disappointed, especially since Consumer Reports rated it so highly. It wasn't cheap either.

I like this one. It's cool to the touch and does it's job which is to toast as best as it can. Sometimes unevenly, sometimes very evenly.

For the price this is a great toaster.I still do not understand why even the high price toasters cannot toast both sides of the bread the same as one is lighter than the other side.
