I bought this toaster about 3 months ago. Its got a 'toast one side only' feature for bagels. After two weeks one pair of toasters would only toast one side. Its also very slow.

We were not impressed with this toaster from the start, took a long time to heat up and make the toast, also when the toast was ready it was quite hard in texture. The toaster fused a couple of times and then one side of it stopped working, only two...

The proof is in the pudding, or rather the toasting and this toaster takes far far too long to toast - the last thing you want when youre busy rushing around in the morning. The buttons are also a pain as you have to press really hard for the pressure...

Very pleased with product- quick and easy to use. No more delays for the toaster to brown the bread! We had looked around in the shops to find this was more competitively priced.

great toaster and lots of controls to get your toast just right. i had one for many years and couldn't be without one, so bought another the same.

The Russell Hobbs 18099 Polished 4-slice toaster looks good in the kitchen and seems to be working okay now. Unfortunately the first model sent to us (but replaced immediately for which many thanks) only toasted on one side.Maybe we haven't selected...

This toaster works exactly as I wanted. you can turn one half to a different setting or off completely. Perfect for 2 people at breakfast. The depth is fine whereas others aren't deep enough for a normal size piece of bread. Not found a problem with it...

On the plus side, it toasts really well and evenly, which I suppose is the most important thing! On the downside, the browning control is absolutely impossible to see; it is a tiny black knob with a tiny black raised bobble to show the setting...

I've been really pleased with Russell Hobbs products in the past & this one is no exception. I find they work well, last a long time & this range in particular looks good. I find that they're also very good value for money particularly when on offer.
