Toshiba 32SL400U

The Toshiba 32SL400U ($699 MSRP) is limited to a 720p resolution and falls shorts of the connectivity options necessary to make it a viable choice for a home theater. Sure, this LED-backlit LCD TV has some bright spots, but there are too many...

The Toshiba 32SL400U ($699 MSRP) is certainly far from perfect, and the price begs for more features that it is actually offering. If you can find it at a fire sale sort of price (perhaps 1/3 or 1/2 of the MSRP), you’re getting close to what the actual...

Just got this TV, but so far so good.

Easy to set up. Nice large button remote. Picture is best with HD source. Sound is okay.

Nice picture. Sound is okay. Love the 1/2 mute feature, great for those loud commercials

The sound could have a little more bass. I turned this setting all the way up and it is still a little tinny

Better than expected!

We purchased this last year for the family for Christmas - our first flatscreen television! It is wonderful. The picture quality is excellent. We had extended family over for Christmas and my brother, an engineer who spent about eight months...

TV sound

The sound on this TV is so poor that it is useless. I took the TV apart and installed jacks for external speakers. There is only digital sound out that would require a digital amplifier with a remote for volume.

Good LED picture, bad sound

If you always (and I mean for everything) run external speakers, the sound won't be an issue. But if you're like me and want to use external surround sound just for watching movies or your favorite action TV series, but feel it's overkill for every day...

Incredible image for a great price

I was affraid about this shop, because it was my firts hdtv, I get it about time, and the picture quality is amazing, good sound system, and looks great mounting in my bedroom wall. If you want quality plus good price you should buy this tv.

Toshiba 19" sound

I agree that the picture is great but the sound is TERRIBLE! Can barely make out what is being said, sitting just a few feet from the TV.

Good value, but doesn\'t meet expectation

Comparing this to the Westinghouse 32" LED. The picture quality on the Toshiba is mediocre at best and for some reason the TV does not turn off at the first press of the "power" button from the universal remote, it does turn off if i hit the button a...
