totally awesome

this tv is awesome, i originally had the samsung 800 model and what a nightmare took it back and got this amazing tv. the 3d capabilities on this are second to NONE . i don't know who did the reviews for this tv but they must have been envious samsung owners, cause this tv rocks !!! i know because i actually had both and saw the difference for myself. get this tv, you will be so happy you did. ohh and everything works unlike the samsung which none of the usb ports worked !!!

Fast setup, Good connection options, Good resolution, Great picture, Attractive design, Bright image

LG 47LX6500 3D LED LCD HDTV Review - Intro

The LG 47LX6500 ($2699 MSRP) has a lot of intriguing features, most notably the 3D display. It's LG's first attempt at a 3D TV (along with the LX9500 series), and we're sorry to say that it's a poor result. Sure, it's a very good 2D performer, but who...

The LG 47LX6500 ($2699 MSRP) is a good-to-very-good television, as far as its 2D performance is concerned. The black level was weak, but the contrast ratio is acceptable. The color performance is outstanding, once again showing where LG's strength's...

LG 55LM8600 3D LCD HDTV

Full LED backlighting with local dimming, when properly implemented, is the gold standard for achieving the best black levels in an LCD HDTV. But such a set also requires a lot of gold to acquire. LED edge-lit designs, needing fewer LEDs and less...

LG 47LX6500

The LG 47LX6500 is a 47-inch LCD that supports 3D display, hence the hefty $2699 MSRP. The standard 2D performance was fantastic, but we suspect that LG has a long way to go in improving its 3D TVs

The LG 47LX6500 has a thin, attractive frame made of reflective, black plastic. The thin-necked base has a slight brownish tint, which may or may not fit in with your decor. The remote control, like the user experience, is par for the course - nothing...

LG 47LX6500

LG's first attempt at 3D, with poor results (though strong 2D performance)

Great color performance; Smooth motion results

Migraine-worthy 3D; Steep early-adopter price

Great tv, good replacement for high end plasma!

I bought this TV to replace a 42inch Pioneer Elite Plasma, and am happy to report that this set holds up to the Pioneer which I felt was (and purely in picture quality arguably still is) the best tv picture commercially available. I waited a long time...

Good value for the size and features ; Ultra thin ; Netcast works really well ; The 2D image is really great in most situations ; The firmware for this TV is being actively supported by LG

You can't change the on-screen system labels for input ports. You can add a description, but obviously it's not always going to match the port name ; I wish there was a way to add a keyboard. It's a pain to search NetFlix using the remote

great price for great technology 3d better then comp

First off, I loved the price for the bundle which is the only one that had the wireless bluray and 4 pair of glasses. This is my first led and the 240 hz is good but still not as good as plasma when comparing motion. however the brightness of the ......

i Just purchased this tv with a bundle consisting of the bx580 blu ray wireless and 4 glasses for less then 1600 and after comparing the samsung and sony led 3d i saved money and got a tv from the company which had the best led last year.LG

the only con is that the tv does not have good audio even though it is supposed to have the best audio for the thin leds. i was able to get a 47 instead of the 46 size and the picture looks great non 3d although it is still not as smooth as plasma

Great TV Even Better Price

I sought the bundle from Conn's in Houston for $1200 4 prs of glasses LD580 3D Blu*ray and a movie. I'd do it again. Absolutely fabulous 2D picture

Great Picture. Good Sound

3D is still a gimmick

Amazing Picture Quality

So far the TV is beautiful. The finish is this dark root beer like metallic that appears black until you look closely. It puts out very little heat, has great brightness and sharpness at full resolution. My games look great, movies are beautiful and...

This TV has a gorgeous picture. Super dark blacks, vivid colors, not overblown, just crisp and natural. This is my third flat screen TV since they became popular. The evolution is amazing

No analogue audio out. Only optical. No biggie, ordered a converter from amazon.Touch sensitive controls on front are a bit annoying when you want to quickly turn down sound and have to wait for the panel to light up to make adjustments

LG Infinia 55LX6500

I have always bought a Samsung T.V. but I am exceptionally happy with my LG. The picture quality is outstanding. It took me and my wife a week or two to get used to the picture. It looks so real, it's almost like the people are standing in your living...

Easy to hook up ; Excellent picture quality ; Netcast is wonderful

Sound quality sucks ; in Tru Motion screen seems to judder a lot it could be I don't have it adjusted right ; connections come straight out the back instead of sideways like most thin LED LCD's so you can't use a low profile wall mount
