Sharp LC-37LE320 review

The LC-37LE320 is an LED flatscreen that takes its design cues, if not its picture technology, from Sharp's high-end Quattron TV range. These panels squeezed a fourth pixel from the usual RGB array, and the yellow pixel's arrival certainly led to a...

Excellent USB media playback; striking monochrome cabinet; vibrant colour fidelity

No Freeview HD; no network connection; limited viewing angle

Sharp LC-37LE320 review

Sharp puts on the style with this natty LED Freeview screen

Eye-catching design ; Superior media playback support over USB ; Zingy colour reproduction ; Above average fine detail

No Freeview HD tuner ; No network connectivity or IPTV content portal ; 100Hz motion resolution artefacts ; Utilitarian user interface ; Ordinary sound quality

The 37-inch LC-37LE320 is the second largest of Sharp's new designer LED sets. These screens are not loaded with the latest tech, such as the brand's extra-yellow-pixel Quattron system, and they certainly don't require you to wear funny glasses to view...

Sharp Aquos LC-37LE320E

Sharp's latest edge LED TV looks the part initially, but the longer you live with it, the more the cracks start to appear.

Pretty design, Punchy colours, Decent multimedia flexibility via the USB

Motion blur/lag, Average black levels, No Freeview HD tuner or online features, Seems expensive

Sharp LC37LE320E

Easy to set up, good design - I particularly like the white back. Lots of options and menus to get the picture how you like it. Great price for a 100Hz.

Not as slim as I was expecting for an LED TV - but who really cares? Image can appear a bit plasticky where everything looks fake but you can get around this by playing with the settings.

Sharp LC37LE320E

Fairly thin for an LCD, although not as thin as other 'side-lit' models.

Sound quality is very poor, even for a slim TV.

Sharp LC37LE320E

Good points was the price and the quality of the picture is stunning. The style is very nice and modern as well, fits into any room. I think it is good value for money. A very good tv and apart from the points below enjoying it.

First of all the REMOTE is not up to the standard of the tv, it is very flimsly and does not respond all the time to the tv. you have to wait a while before changing channels. (Sort the REMOTE out) The programme guide is good but would have been nice...
