Sony Bravia KDL-40EX703

Sony's 40-inch LED TV is bursting with high-end features, despite its slim frame

Natural colours; Features galore; Freeview HD tuner; LED backlight; XMB interface

Patchy motion handling; Average black levels; Some audio distortion at high volumes; Relatively pricey

Decked out in glossy black and trimmed with an eye-catching brushed-metal strip running underneath the screen, this Bravia-branded set sits in the middle of the Japanese giant's current line up and is an exciting demonstration of the spec and...

Sony KDL-32EX703

This great panel represents a return to form for Sony with a set that is packed with features

Good pictures; Internet TV; Connectivity; Freeview HD

Pricey

There is a pseudo-surround sound mode, but this doesn't really bring much to the table. While it's true that £900 is relatively expensive for a 32in panel, you'd be hard pushed to find a similarly sized set with such an impressive list of features and...

Sony Bravia EX703 (KDL-46EX703) review

The Sony Bravia KDL-46EX703 is a pretty decent performer and would be a great choice for many people. But you can buy a bigger TV that offers much better performance for significantly less money

Comparatively great sound quality ; User-friendly menu system ; Good high-definition picture quality ; Impressive eco-friendly features

Standard-definition picture is unimpressive ; Too expensive ; Wi-Fi hardware should be built-in at this price

Is the KDL-46EX703 bad? No. Is it overpriced? Quite possibly. As always, the final decision is yours

Sony KDL-40EX703

The KDL-40EX703 is a well equipped TV, demonstrating a better than average level of performance although doubts remain over Edge lit LED performance ..

A well equipped reasonably priced package

Doubts remain over LED

The KDL-40EX703 is a well equipped TV which demonstrates a better than average level of overall performance. We have some reservations though in that Sony's own KDL-40EX503 compares favourably in terms of performance and is significantly less expensive.

Sony Bravia KDL-EX703 32in Freeview HD TV

A 32in LED TV that delivers a stack of features and a rather good picture too.

The Bravia KDL-32EX703 is not only packed with features but is displays a darn fine picture too. Even the sound isn't half bad. It's pricey, but not well beyond its rivals, and there are cheaper family members if you're happy to forego LED backlighting...

Sony Bravia EX703 (KDL-46EX703)

This is a great tv if you have all the "high end" components to match it up with. Even DVD'S (unless blueray) when upscalled seem a little grainy. But feed it a good HDsignal or play a blueray disc through a decent player and it shines. As a standard...

HD/BR playback quality, 4 HDMI in, Sonysynch

Still average LED, embarrasingly poor picture with any input source other than SKYHD or Freesat. Sound quality is ok with voices but poor depth means movies sound weak and external av eq' is a must

Sony Bravia EX703 (KDL-46EX703)

I bought this TV from Amazon & it's a really good picture. I upgraded the software from the Sony website and this enabled the BBC IPlayer etc. A good buy - I can recommend it. Sony are moving to more 3D TV's in 2011 - which doesn't interest me , so...

Internet enabled - HD tuner

slow to boot up

Excellent picture quality and the sound quality is better than I had expected from reading some reviews. The sound however benefits from the use of a separate amplifier and speakers, though this is not essential for a satisfactory listening experience.
