Toshiba 55SL412U Review – 55-inch LED HDTV

The current population has an increasing demand for a television with few features but great quality within a reasonable price. While most manufacturers integrate high quality only with inactive features and high price, the Toshiba 55SL412U emerges as...

Toshiba 46VL758 review

Beautifully made, but average performing edge LED set with Resolution+

Build quality ; Standard-def performance ; Brightness and colours

Backlight inconsistency ; Limited multimedia options ; Disappointing styling

It's also great to find it announcing a new premium intention with such an uncompromisingly well built and slinky – if hardly earth shattering – TV.

Toshiba 40VL758 review

Toshiba has upped its game rather dramatically with its latest range of LED TVs. Produced in collaboration with the jolly Danes from Jacob Jensen Design, they are uniformly slim (this 40 incher is a mere 29mm deep) and well made. They're also...

Aspirational build quality, stylishly minimalist design, good motion clarity, Freeview HD

Some minor motion blur, limited online content, strident audio, not our first choice when it comes to streaming media across a network

The Jacob Jensen design adds a welcome air of sophistication to what is actually a cost conscious Edge LED flatscreen. Active Motion M100 provision doesn’t prevent some image smearing, but detail retention generally is surprisingly good. There are some...

Toshiba Regza VL (40VL758B) review

We love the Toshiba VL's stylish design and its bright and rich colours. It lacks a little contrast, however, and its Internet features feel like they're still a work in progress.

Deep black levels ; Rich colours ; Great looking design ; Good range of features for the price

Middling contrast performance ; YouTube doesn't work ; IPlayer needs improving ; Some blotchiness in the backlighting

The 40VL758B is a great looking TV that produces bright pictures with rich, natural colours. However, its contrast performance isn't quite up there with the best and its internet features are also disappointing

AWFUL on all but Blu rays.

AWFUL on all but Blu rays. I went with Toshiba because I had such great experience with their tube TVs. This is an unmitigated disaster on every front. Horrible broadcast and AppleTV results; terrible strobing and choppiness on even mildly fast motion....

Cheaper than other 55 inch screens

Horrible picture quality on anything but Blu Rays. Steaming video at 720 or 1080 somehow looks like garbage. Disastrous out-of-the-box settings; worst tv I have owned in 40 years

Great TV for the price point. No frills

All in all...i love this tv. I got it for a little above 1000. This TV does not offer the BEST picture every created...but for 55 inches at 1000 bucks...I cannot expect the best. Picture is still solid. Motion is still great most of the time. Blacks...

Price for 55 inch is unbeatable ; Simple styling (not to flamboyant) ; GOOD picture quality (i've seen better) ; Energy efficient...power bill went down 10 bucks ; Good blacks...high whites ; Dynalight is cool feature

Probably the only thing i absolutely HATE about this tv is...the sound. Its only 7 watts. Anyone who buys this tv will need a soundbar ATLEAST ; The 120hz looks like it bogs down a little in very high speed scenes

Toshiba 46sl412u is over priced for quality

I'm thinking of returning the tv and pay the restoring fee. First I'm going to check if there's a firmware update. I wouldn't buy this.

It's thin and looks pretty

Just bought mine at lower than reviews. I am still disappointed. It's not user friendly, menu options are limited. Picture is pixalated at all of my inputs (attena, pc desktop vga, desktop hdmi) and has no options in menu. Also while watching football, the

Terrible when compared to previous Sony!!

Would not recommend this tv unless you dont mind purchasing some type of external speakers or system, and in that case better to just buy a more expensive tv. Seems like many of the LEDs have this problem so either stay away from them unless your going...

Very thin and light weight, easy to install. Has 4 HDMI ports easily accessible at back

Picture is just so-so, not sure if we are just used to our previous Sony Bravia KDL46V5100 which was accidentally damaged. Settings are not extensive or really user friendly. There is some blurring especially when watching sports, which never occurred wi

Toshiba 40E210

I had no summary for this tv, the overall is that it's a great tv for it's price,

This tv surprise me for its price, the image it's so crips and clear am amaze when am watching my blue ray movies, and not only that this 40" tv it's great for gaming, it's smooth and I love the feature it has for the control delay for your gaming experie

Well the tv has a horrible interface, but nothing too serious, the control it's an ok control nothing especial, but the bad thing it's the audio, but I had no problem with it, I had some great speakers with surround sound, so I think the bad things can be
