Product Specifications

Feast your eyes on the superb picture and fill your room with an outstanding sound. The Aiwa's XD-DV290 DVD player equipped with 10-bit video conversion, can eliminate more of the artifacts (interruptions of the signal that make a DVD picture look pixilated) than most of it predecessors to really make the video look closer to perfect. This player is CD-R/RW Playback compatible and features DTS/Dolby Digital Out and 96kHz/24-Bit Audio D/A converter. In addition, this Aiwa model has all three major video-out connectors - composite, S-video, and component - to increase video quality. Spatializer's flagship HRTF-based virtualization technology provides realistic multi-channel surround sound playback from just two conventional speakers or headphones, instead of the standard five or more speakers normally required. All this coupled with Multi-Angle and Multi-Aspect Playback, Parental Lock and Multi-Language On-Screen Display make the XD-DV290 a really special DVD player that won't empty your pockets.
