In the end, the V4000 is an excellent TV like the W4000. Its main weakness is the lack of an HD compatible digital tuner.

This television proves that Panasonic doesn't just make good plasma screens but LCDs as well. It's just too bad that there the digital tuner isn't HD compatible.

The PFL9603H displays nice images but mainly suffers from dynamic modifications to the gamma curve which cannot be deactivated. Otherwise, blacks are a little to grayish.

If it had an HD digital tuner, the A558 would have received a fifth star. Luckily, there is exactly this component on the A568.
