We bought this TV about a year ago. At the time we could not afford what amounted to about 3x the price of this TV for a larger plasma, LCD, or projection TV. We did want HDTV support. Honestly, as well, the other factor was that the color fidelity ...

Excellent picture: like Sony but producing less eye-strain. Surprisingly good sound. Excellent complement of features.

Requires concentrated service-menu adjustments to excel. Skewed picture quadrangle geometry. Too many "lemons."

Great Deal but Massive Defects

 

Do not purchase this television. Do NOT. Why, you ask? It has major defects. The picture quality, features, inputs and outputs, and aesthetics are AMAZING for the price. But you just can't get around defects. I purchased this television about 8 ...

Amazing value - HDMI, 1080i output, optical out, slim design, etc.

MAJOR defects that plague most of the models produced. Bowing, color distortion, the works.
