Sony KDL-46NX713 review

A stylish 46-inch LED set with killer HD pictures – just give 3D a miss

Super-sharp HD pictures with artefact-free motion ; Bravia Internet Video content ; Built-in Wi-Fi ; Stunning external design

3D picture quality ; Expensive optional glasses and transmitter ; Networking format support could be better ; Remote a bit fiddly ; Minor backlight issues

Sony Bravia NX713 (KDL-46NX713) review

The 46-inch Sony Bravia KDL-46NX713 LED TV looks ace and offers top-class 2D pictures, as well as excellent Internet features. Just don't bother with its unimpressive 3D setting.

Slick design ; Good Internet content ; Impressive standard-definition upscaling ; Rich and natural colours ; Great black levels

3D performance is relatively poor

If you can live without 3D -- and, let's face it, most people don't seem to give two hoots about the technology -- the Sony Bravia KDL-46NX713 is a good option, thanks to its excellent picture quality and great line-up of Internet features.
