LG 47LM960V review

How does LG's 2012 Nano tech shape up?

Sensational looks ; Excellent user interface ; 3D pictures look great ; Content-rich online service

It's not cheap ; Limited viewing angles ; Flawed black level reproduction ; High input lag

Anybody still of the opinion that LG merely slavishly follows its lauded Korean rival Samsung is very much mistaken.

LG's latest ‘Nano' TV looks amazing - but those looks come at a picture quality cost.

Stunning design, Excellent operating system, Bright pictures and colours are excellent

Black levels are disappointing, It’s very expensive, Game-spoiling input lag

LG champions passive 3D, and this set comes with a whopping seven pairs of glasses – could be useful if you're having mates round for the big game...

An accomplished, covetable and high-performing TV, but optimistically priced

Good looks; lengthy spec; stable, punchy pictures; 3D is an authentic strength

Pricey in this company; sounds mediocre; others generate deeper blacks

LG 47LM960V

Easy to set up, connect up other items (e.g. DVD, Amp) and tune in ; Picture quality is generally very sharp ; Looks very stylish

Small, fast moving images can become faint but not a major problem ; Sound is not brilliant and would certainly recommend using a sound bar or Amp ; Not cheap by any means
