Excellent picture. On-board PVR with 160GB space. Budget pricing.

PVR no competition for TiVo or Foxtel. Black levels could be better.

The LG 50PG79ED offers an excellent picture for the price and adds a useful, though at times idiosyncratic, digital recorder with 160GB of space.

Excellent

 

All visitors envy this TV. I can rewind live TV, record fav programs, use and eternal HD to record more movies, plug in laptop, screen is bright, picture is prefect: I am not even thinking of going 3D while I have this.

This a great TV. I received it as a gift 3 years ago and love it. Love it!

There does not seem to be anywhere to plug in infrared headphones.
