LG 47LM6700

Last year one of our most recommended mainstream LED-based LCDs was the LG LW5600 series , which combined very good picture quality with solid features at an attractive price, especially toward the end of the year . As the spiritual successor to that...

The LG LM6700 series delivers accurate color and good picture quality in 3D mode with little to no crosstalk. Its clever motion-control remote is used with a highly customizable menu system, and its Smart TV suite offers plenty of content. It ships...

The somewhat expensive LM6700 showed light black levels and shadows, and its glossy screen reflects too much ambient light. It lacks an option to engage smoothing and evinced worse motion resolution than other 120Hz TVs.

Although blessed with a unique design and plenty of useful extras, the disappointing picture quality of the LG LM6700 series makes it a questionable value.

LG 55LM6700

LG's good-looking 55-inch 55LM6700 3D LED HDTV is loaded with features, but you'll have to get used to its quirky remote.

Good picture. Built-in Wi-Fi. Passive 3D; bundled with six pairs of 3D glasses. Energy efficient

Motion-based remote control takes some getting used to. Passive 3D only works best if you're sitting front-and-center

LG 47LM6700

LG LM6700 series information: Our review of the LG 47-inch 47LM6700 is based on our hands-on experience with the 55-inch 55LM6700. According to LG, the two TVs have the same specifications (except weight and dimensions) and should offer similar...

Stunning, nearly bezel-free design ; Uniformly bright picture ; Very little light bleed at edges ; Excellent 3D performance ; Solid color performance when properly adjusted

Quirky point-and-click remote ; Protruding, plastic stand ; Speakers add some to depth dimensions

While this set may be the lowest model of LG’s top-tier Cinema Screen TV series, we think it offers an absolutely stellar combination of beautiful form-factor, features and performance...

Unconvinced about 3D TVs? LG is here to change your mind.

The 47LM6700 ($1799 MSRP) is a spectacular 3D smart TV from LG.

"Amazing TV, what is CNET on about?"

This is really an awesome TV!

- Quality colours with great depth and natural levels (much better then Samsung's TVs which seem to over light everything)

- Speakers are crap

"Cinema screen, fantastic passive 3D, 2D smart TV."

I used to rely on CNET reviews on all electronic purchases and used to keep that as a benchmark. After reading this TV's review, I'm forced to change my opinion.

Cinema screen with thin bezel

Screen glare

"Beautiful Looking TV .. to me"

This tv looks amazing hanging on the wall. That is why a purchased it. When you look at what is offered by this set compared to Samsung, it was a no brainer for me. I essentially purchased it for the sleek form factor. Yes, it has a unique remote, it...

Amazing picture

"CNET must have got the only bad LG 55LM6700 ever made."

For the money you just can not beat it, especially for a 3D set. At first we thought about for going 3D, because it was just to expensive and we noticed that places like Costco had lots of other sets in the same range with slightly larger screens, ie....

Picture Quality, Style, Edge to Edge Screen, LED Back lighting, Light Weight and Extremely Thin and Price!

Personally I don't like the remote, but everyone else in my family loves it. The picture quality is too good. Watching 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 720i you notice every little thing. 3D is a little dark, but heck that is passive 3D for you.
