LG LM6700 review: LG LM6700

The LG LM6700 series delivers accurate color and good picture quality in 3D mode with little to no crosstalk. Its clever motion-control remote is used with a highly customizable menu system, and its Smart TV suite offers plenty of content. It ships...

The somewhat expensive LM6700 showed light black levels and shadows, and its glossy screen reflects too much ambient light. It lacks an option to engage smoothing and evinced worse motion resolution than other 120Hz TVs.

Although blessed with a unique design and plenty of useful extras, the disappointing picture quality of the LG LM6700 series makes it a questionable value.

LG 55LM6700

LG's good-looking 55-inch 55LM6700 3D LED HDTV is loaded with features, but you'll have to get used to its quirky remote.

Good picture. Built-in Wi-Fi. Passive 3D; bundled with six pairs of 3D glasses. Energy efficient

Motion-based remote control takes some getting used to. Passive 3D only works best if you're sitting front-and-center

LG 47LM6700

Unconvinced about 3D TVs? LG is here to change your mind.

The 47LM6700 ($1799 MSRP) is a spectacular 3D smart TV from LG.

LG 55LM6700 Review – 55-inch LED LCD HDTV

The 55-inch LED TV model is one of the TV sets launched by LG with the cinema 3D technology. The passive 3D technology support extended by the model allows users to access the 3D content wearing lightweight and comfortable glasses provided by the...

The manufacturer has further upgraded the Smart TV features to enhance the overall scope of a viewer to stream online content from popular networks like Netflix, Hulu Plus and VUDU along with the new 3D Zone. The model also comes with built-in Wi-Fi...

LG 55LM6700

LG's 55LM6700 is a 55-inch LED-backlit HDTV oozes style and is packed with features. You get passive 3D with six bundled pairs of glasses, integrated Wi-Fi with LG's myriad apps and streaming media services, an almost completely flat front panel, and a...

"Great picture, great apps, great interface"

I have to also say I don't understand why Cnet panned this tv - it's amazing. The picture is gorgeous, the app interface is fantastic, and even the sound is a vast improvement over my last tv (a five-year old Vizio plasma). I had a Vizio latest-gen...

- Beautiful, vivid picture

- Button placement on Magic Remote (sometimes hit 'Mute' instead of 'Enter')

"Amazing TV, what is CNET on about?"

This is really an awesome TV!

- Quality colours with great depth and natural levels (much better then Samsung's TVs which seem to over light everything)

- Speakers are crap

"Cinema screen, fantastic passive 3D, 2D smart TV."

I used to rely on CNET reviews on all electronic purchases and used to keep that as a benchmark. After reading this TV's review, I'm forced to change my opinion. This is a fantastic TV overall. Great 2D and 3D picture quality. I connected this TV to...

"CNET must have got the only bad LG 55LM6700 ever made."

For the money you just can not beat it, especially for a 3D set. At first we thought about for going 3D, because it was just to expensive and we noticed that places like Costco had lots of other sets in the same range with slightly larger screens, ie....

Picture Quality, Style, Edge to Edge Screen, LED Back lighting, Light Weight and Extremely Thin and Price!

Personally I don't like the remote, but everyone else in my family loves it. The picture quality is too good. Watching 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 720i you notice every little thing. 3D is a little dark, but heck that is passive 3D for you.

"Great TV much better than this crappy CNET review shows"

I buy and sell tvs as a side job and thoroughly test all the ones I receive. From the likes of the Sony NX720, the Samsung plasma PnD7000 series and other samsung leds. This one is great in comparison to those and can hold its own (especially for the...

Good black level
