High-style LG LED TV doesn't stint on picture quality

If you've been holding out for an LED TV with picture quality that mostly lives up to its stunning design and cutting-edge features, the LM7600 series deserves a look.

The LG LM7600 series has very good overall picture quality, with deep black levels for an LED TV. The semimatte screen worked well in brighter rooms, and the 3D was virtually free of crosstalk. Blessed by a thin, tastefully black bezel, this is one of...

The relatively expensive LM7600 evinced poor screen uniformity, with an obvious hot spot in the upper corner. Color was less accurate than that of many competitors. Its passive 3D showed occasional artifacts and moving lines

The LM8600 series is the second tier in LG's 2012 line-up of LCD HDTVs. It handles bright, vivid content well, but struggles to produce deep black levels.

LG 55LM7600 Review – 55-inch LED LCD HDTV

The TV set is one of the slickest models launched by LG that support passive 3D technology and offers 1080p resolution. The manufacturer has also integrated a Flash and HTML 5 compatible web browser and Smart TV features to provide users with a much...

The manufacturer has further used the Dual Play gaming technology to allow kids to play video games without splitting up the screen for multiple players. You also get the option to access a wide range of online applications, games and other streaming...

LG 55LM7600

Though we believe active 3D technology takes the cake, this passive 3D TV definitely gives it a run for its money. Its corresponding 3D glasses are family-friendly and its conversion mode turns everyday programming into an engaging three-dimensional...

This TV comes with six pairs of battery-free 3D glasses, and additional pairs are affordable

The 240Hz refresh rate is impressive, but it still isn't quite up to the speed of plasma rivals

It may use passive 3D technology, but this LG 3D TV is nothing short of dynamic.

LG 55LM7600 3D 1080P LED HDTV

Although the 55LM7600 does not have the premium LED backlighting package with local dimming, 3D content still looks good and color seems just as good on this set as the higher end models form LG for 2012.

LG 55LM7600

The LG 55LM7600 offers an incredibly good 3D picture — if you sit far enough away from the TV — plus, plenty of smarts and clever control functions at a reasonable price.

Excellent picture quality ; Very good network content ; Excellent 3D crosstalk rejection ; Great 'Magic Motion' remote interface

No analogue audio output for use with external sound system ; Subjectively smaller 3D picture due to need to sit further away

The LG 55LM7600 TV offers an excellent range of features and fine picture quality for a reasonable price. It is especially good with 3D, so long as you sit far enough away — we'd recommend at least three metres.

Stay clear of LG

I primarily use this as a display monitor for customer presentations. Every other line of pixels seems dimmer than the rest creating horizontal lines across the screen. it is especially apparent with blue. I use it as a Windows display so blue abounds....

Looks nice when it's off

Picture is terrible, it has trouble detecting inputs

Initial impressions

All of the important factors are positives. If you want an amazing TV with amazing display properties, don't hesitate. If you have no idea how to calibrate a TV and really don't want to have to mess with the settings a whole lot, I would look for...

size ; thickness (or lack there of) ; picture quality ; speed with menus

not very intuitive ; small flashlight effect on bottom right. Does not really affect my viewing experience. But it's there, none the less ; Remote is difficult to get used to. Once you get used to it, it becomes a rather nice feature. I put this as a...

Great TV for the Price

I have only had this tv for about a week now but I love it. My parent have this tv they bought it about a year ago and after seeing it I had to have one. I waited for a price drop since my need was not urgent ; This tv is not the "Best" on the market,...
