LG 55UB950V review

LG's first 2014 4K TV also delivers webOS

Below average native contrast ; Local dimming sometimes clumsy ; No ITVPlayer or 4OD ; High input lag

LG's spirit of design and feature innovation is fully on show with the 55UB950V, and fits handsomely with the futuristic feel of the set's UHD technology. There are times when its pictures look sublime too – especially with bright, colour-rich native...

Sharp, clean picture, Punchy colours, WebOS is a work of genius

Issues with contrast, Could do with more subtlety

A talented TV that’s good to look at and great to use

LG 55UB950V 4K TV review

4K is mighty fine, but this LG's real superpower is its WebOS

WebOS is a work of genius Lovely to control Punchy colours

Not the most natural or realistic colours Issues with contrast Build quality a bit plasticky

A truly superb interface held back just slightly by a performance that's simply very good

LG's 4K and webOS TV has great bits and less great bits

UHD pictures look blisteringly sharp, Pictures are bright and colourful, webOS is a work of genius

Serious black level problems, Input lag is far too high for gaming, 3D crosstalk issues
