LG OLED55C6V review

LG takes OLED to new heights

The OLED55C6V is quite simply the best OLED TV yet. It looks gorgeous, particularly if curved screens are your thing, and unprecedented black levels help to deliver picture quality that is, for the most part, dazzling, as LG continues to refine its...

The OLED55C6V is the first TV we've seen from LG's 2016 OLED range. Costing £3,000, it's a 55-inch model with a curved screen, and it arrives packing new support for Dolby Vision's high dynamic range technology as well as – according to LG – a...

LG C6 (OLED55C6V) UHD 4K TV Review

LG's curved C6 Ultra HD 4K OLED TV sits at the lower end of their new range for 2016 but still includes 3D, HDR and WebOS.

Superb blacks and contrast ratio ; Marvellous dynamic range ; Great greyscale and colour accuracy ; Excellent video processing ; Wide viewing angles ; Supports Dolby Vision ; Impressive passive 3D ; WebOS remains effective

Minor banding just above black ; Slight crush in shadow detail ; Clipping with HDR 10 material ; Rec.2020 tracking could be better ; Side inputs too close to edge

As the first OLED TV that we have reviewed this year, the LG 55C6 has been largely impressive, retaining a number of key features, producing a great image and delivering on many of LG's promises for this latest generation. It might not have the...

Blackest of blacks No haloing or light bleed at all. Brilliant upscaling of SD and HD Fantastic picture Best TV I've ever owned or seen anywhere full stop Samsung, Panasonic and Sony competition are lagging far behind.

I'd have preferred to pay less but actually it's well worth the money - it's truly brilliant.
