Loewe Individual 46 Selection Full HD+ 100

The Loewe Individual 46 Selection Full HD+ 100 TV is a Full HD, 46-inch LCD TV. Released in summer 2008, the TV is currently advertised online for around 4,000 GBP.

Excellent sound ; Combined tuner for analogue TV, DVB-T, and DVB-C

Weaknesses in 24p ; Confusing menu structure ; Poor detail in analogue TV picture

This 46-inch Loewe is a well-put-together bit of kit, with plenty of extra features, a decent picture, and outstandingly good sound. But if you’re a stickler for a top picture, steer clear: both the contrast and the 24p reproduction fail to impress.

Loewe Individual 40 Selection

Incredibly diverse. Dual tuners for analog cable TV and digital satellite are either built-in as standard or available for later assembly at a surcharge; Loewe will install a hard disk for an incredibly meager fee so that the set also performs the...

More uniformity please. The screen illumination is not very consistent; Only one HDMI interface is a little insufficient for today's installations; What has happened to the picture details? The set is lacking screen resolution for beautifully rendered...

King of the jungle? Overall, this is what the Loewe maintains. When it comes to expandability, operational comfort or sound quality, then indeed the Loewe is good. However, anyone wishing to have the best picture around will find that the competition...

Loewe Individual Compose 46 3D review

As Forrest Gump so very nearly said, Loewe is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get. Thanks to the German luxury brand's unique ‘consumer choice' approach to design, it's impossible for a reviewer to predict for sure what...

Near-bespoke design; very good 2D pictures overall; excellent built-in lossless video recorder

Crosstalk with 3D; some backlight inconsistency

Loewe Individual Compose 40 40in LCD TV

It isn't cheap, but do the well-heeled and brand-conscious care about that?

For building still further on its up-front high-end credentials is the fact that it's available in, and with, all kinds of different design options. For instance, the main TV body can be had in either Aluminium Silver or the even more scrumptious...

Loewe Individual 46 Compose 3D

The latest upgrade to Loewe's designer Individual Compose TV range marks the brand's first steps into 3D.

Gorgeous build quality and design options ; Excellent built-in HDD recorder ; Brilliant audio and good picture quality

Minor 3D 'shadow' crosstalk ; Backlight consistency issues ; Only for the deep of pocket

The Individual 46 Compose 3D is more than just a TV. It’s an objet d’art, a premium lifestyle AV solution designed to make you love it far more than is probably healthy. Especially given the extent to which you can personalise its look to suit your...

Loewe Individual Compose 40 White 40in LCD TV

If you're lucky enough to have been paid a massive bonus recently, the Individual Compose 40 in white could be for you.

It's hard to imagine anyone but Loewe going to such extreme lengths to deliver such a full design vision - especially when you consider that many people tend to shove their subwoofers behind a sofa rather than leave them in plain sight.

Loewe Individual 40 Compose Full-HD+ 100 DR+ review

For the price of the Loewe Individual 40 Compose Full-HD+ 100 DR+ with a few of the trimmings, you could buy a decent second-hand car, although the price falls considerably if it's just the screen you want. Those who want to spend thousands on an LCD...

Appealing design ; Good picture and sound quality ; Excellent user interface

Extremely expensive ; Confusing configuration options

That's not to say that this isn't a great TV, because, in many ways, it is. If you're in the position to buy one, we think you'll be getting a terrific package and one that offers everything you're likely to need in a TV

Loewe Individual Compose 40 review

The mass market may decide they'd rather spend less money elsewhere than get this Loewe. But to its target market of well-to-do TV customers, who want a TV that really makes a statement as well as performing well, the Individual Compose 40 delivers on...

Beautifully designed ; Impressive recording capabilities ; Sounds awesome ; Well featured

Black levels and colours could be better ; It's not cheap

Conclusion Let's be honest about this. If you're the sort of person who'd love a Bang & Olufsen TV but just can't afford one, Loewe's Individual Compose 40 is the next best thing, at around £3,000. For while it might not be the absolute best performer...
