Maxent MX-50X3 Monitor

Maxent's MX-50X3 50-inch plasma HD monitor delivers good image quality on both high-def and standard TV content, but it's not exactly a TV. Like any plasma monitor, it offers neither an analog NTSC tuner (for standard content) nor a digital ATSC tuner...

HD and standard-def content look good Low price, honest documentation

No NTSC or ATSC tuner Confusing remote

The Maxent MX-50X3 50-inch plasma HDTV monitor does precisely what it claims to do. In fact, with standard-def and high-def content, it performs better than you might expect from a budget model. An HDTV monitor--especially one with a confusing...

Maxent MX-50X3 Plasma Monitor

Maxent is one such manufacturer that is getting a fair amount of shelf space at the national chains, and their 50-inch MX-50X3 HD plasma monitor is now available at retail for $2,999. That's not much more than a 42-inch XGA-resolution plasma TV costs...

Maxent MX-50X3 Plasma Monitor

As retail prices for plasma displays continue to decline, there appear to be some really good deals coming to market - mainly, plasma monitors sold under unfamiliar brands in big box stores and wholesale clubs. In particular, plasma monitors are of...

Maxent MX-50X3

I practically stole mine from Best Buy as a floor model at $1,200! Overall I'm very pleased with this TV. The picture can be pixilated and blurry at times with S-Video from my Dish Network box. Component video from Nintendo Wii and DVD looks great....

Less expensive than comparable units, HUGE!, lots of input options

Occasionaly pixilated images

Maxent MX-50X3

Because I had a Maxent 42" Plasma earlier that was amazing for the cost I am a little disappointed with the picture quality on my new Maxent 50" Plasma. I don't know if all 50" Plasmas lose the detail of a 42" or not. I'm concerned and checking out...

Excellent price, good contrast, bright picture & removable speakers

Maxent MX-50X3

First things first: this thing has a great picture, which isn't very surprising considering that the plasma panel is a Panasonic. At under $2500 it's an absolute steal. I spent hours at Best Buy adjusting and tweaking the display of this panel...

Excellent picture quality (HD and SD), detachable speakers, amazing price, elegant design

Obviously if you are considering this plasma it's because of the price. Got mine a month ago. Now will someone please come and peel my ass off this couch. Like anything else you get what you pay for but in regards to this plasma you get the picture...
