Great value for money

This little item adds another dimension to any good compact or rangefinder camera of almost any brand when noise becomes a problem at ISO 800 or above. Most built-in camera flashes have limited reach so this diminutive model gives double or more...

Easy-Use Flash

For its price, its built extremely well, and is powerful for its size. Though it lacks the Guide Number of most bigger flashes, Recycle time is fast. The tilt head functions well, and I find it great for off camera sport photography.

Compact and quite powerful

A useful just in case flash gun to carry around in your pocket. Gives that little extra over the built in units for a very reasonable price

Portable flash for DSLR with none built in

Useful as a carry around add-on for cameras with no built-in flash (eg Canon 5D's). Bit fiddly in use, it doesn't have any metering so not quite as good as a built-in flash, but pocketable. Tilting head works well. I'd buy it again..

Handy & Easy-to-use Flash Unit

I used to own just one flash for all of my film cameras, and was irritated when swapping to digital that my existing flash wouldn't be suitable as the voltage was too high for my new camera. Automatic flash used to be the norm and worked perfectly well.

compact size and light-weight, good value for money, non-dedicated - use with any make of camera, use with digital and film, bounce facility

not enough power for some applications, bounce mechanism not as robust as some

Value Flashgun

Ideal if you want to avoid spending over ?100 on a dedicated flash. Simple to work - just needs the photographer to understand some basics about light and the manual settings on their camera. Well worth the money

great price, easy to use

Decent budget flash

I bought this as a cheap add-on to my bridge camera (Fuji S9600) and wasn't expecting great things, but the thing did exceed expectations.

slow to power up (to be expected though)

flash 'out' rotates to vertical
