Mitsubishi WD-65737

Editors' note (March 4, 2010): The rating on this product has been lowered because of changes in the competitive marketplace, including the release of 2010 models. The review has not otherwise been modified. Click here for more information.

Excellent screen-size-to-price ratio; accurate color; numerous picture adjustments; plenty of connectivity including three HDMI and three component-video inputs; extremely thin bezel results in nearly "all screen" look

Reproduces lighter black levels than flat-panel displays; some visible screen grain; deeper cabinet prevents wall-hanging; must eventually replace bulb; clunky remote and menu design

The rear-projection Mitsubishi WD-737 series offers the most screen for the least money, and decent picture quality to boot.

Mitsubishi WD-65737 Review – 65-inch DLP HDTV

If size is the criterion for a very less price, then Mitsubishi WD-65737 is just the TV for you. With all other competitors leaving the rear projection scene, Mitsubishi remains the sole company to cater to the people who are searching for DLP HDTVs....

The Mitsubishi WD-65737 is 3D ready which means that you can play a lot of games on it. A compatible PC and graphic drivers will help in the gaming process. Although there are no specific features for reducing power consumption, the Mitsubishi WD-65737...

Mitsubishi 3D TV review of Mitsubishi WD-65737

Mitsubishi WD-65737 looks like a big black box. After the size, the first thing that we noticed on this Mitsubishi 3D TV was the front surface which is almost all screen. There is a tiny half inch thick border that would look really small even on...

Mitsubishi WD-65737

THIS TV HAS TO BE THE MOST IMPRESSIVE I'VE COME ACROSS. ESPECIALLY SINCE I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT =D. I WON THIS TV IN A RAFFLE DRAWING ABOUT FIVE MONTHS AGO. I WAS SO EXCITED!! THE TV IS UH GREAT ONE AND THATS THE TRUTH. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS IMPRESSIVE...

LARGE 65" SCREEN ; SOUND AND BASS ; LIGHTWEIGHT ; PICTURE QUALITY

LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

Cant beat the dollars/inch

If it lasts 6 -9 years and the bulb only requires replacement 2 times in that period, its a steal.

accurate review by the cnet folks

audio is not great, and it doesn't have an audio out

Consumer review by:

Size is great and picture when using HDMI is gorgeous.

I would buy it all over again just for the size, but I just didn't get quite the definition in the picture that I was looking for. I was looking for the perfect picture you see in smaller plasma TV's or even LCD;s. I do realize that you sacrifice some...

I love, love the size! For the size! Watching my DVD's and HiDef channels the picture is absolutely gorgeous, especially if it is BluRay. Set-up was a cinch, but the menu was difficult to learn as well as the remote

I was a little surprised when I found out that I had to have HiDef with my local cable company to have the great picture and then I had only 25 channels that were HiDef. Needless to say, I canceled the extra cost and I just watch it without HiDef

Worth the money.

It is pretty big

depth/butt to big

Great Value...A Captivating TV!"

We ordered the TV June 4th and I set it up on...

The size, the value, the options / user controls, the Easy Connect, the picture on DVDs and HD / digital broadcast channels, rich color

Makes over-the-air channels (non-HD) look even worse; the "up-convert" or "plush" technology that was boasted about is not as noticeable as they said
