Panasonic Viera TC-P50ST50

Panasonic Viera ST50 series information: Our review of the Panasonic P50ST50 is based on hands-on experience with the larger 55-inch P50ST50 model. According to Panasonic, all models in the series have the same components and should give the same...

Outstanding black level and contrast performance ; Great brightness ; Nearly perfect color ; Naturally smooth motion ; Excellent Internet portal (Viera Connect)

Black levels suffer in bright rooms ; Limited HDMI connections, no PC input ; High power consumption, high heat output ; Calibration takes a while

Based on picture performance alone, this could just as well be Panasonic’s flagship model.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 Plasma 3D HDTV

HDTV manufacturers' fortunes have been in a perpetual state of flux for years. With prices continually dropping, profit margins are slim. While the TV makers haven't quite yet adopted a business plan that calls for losing money on each sale, there...

The hardest part of doing this review was finding something to complain about. I wasn’t very successful. With a remarkable price, superb 2D performance, and 3D that can only be bettered by spending a lot more (and often, not even then), this Panasonic...

According to Adrienne Maxwell's review, Panasonic has stepped up their game with the 55-inch TC-P55ST50 plasma HDTV, in both aesthetics and performance. The company has set the 2012 bar high.

In my book, you still can't beat plasma when it comes to getting the best combination of features, screen size, and performance for the price, and Panasonic has set the 2012 bar high with the new TC-P55ST50. This 55-inch plasma TV currently has a...

– This setting is much dimmer than you might expect. It is more than likely an energy-saving setting and will not give you much brightness or light throughput nor show you what the ST50 can do color-wise

Panasonic Viera TC-P55ST50

I Returned 6 led tv's over the past 3 months. All had problems with the picture. I finally decided to try Plasma and boy I'm glad I did. No backlight bleeding, blooming or screen uniformity issues. Panny makes a great set with extremely deep blacks and...

SHESHECHIC: The Pro section adds a two-point grayscale adjustment, a couple of gamma presets and a handful of far less useful adjustments. We intentionally avoid digging in beyond a certain level of user-adjustment because a) most consumers are...

Internet interface is very limited and difficult to navigate (why can't you use the remote control to enter text? Like SMS/TXT phones), also cannot run flash player, so access to many [video] website is pointless (e.g. TED).
