In addition, the combo unit is equipped with Auto Scan, which allows to quickly search through FM radio stations until you find the station of your choice. With a TV, VCR and radio all in one unit, a Panasonic TV/VCR combination is like an entire home entertainment system without all of the components and cables to connect. By receiving the Extended Data Service signal from your local PBS channel, the clock and date are set automatically. Plus a back-up system automatically updates them after the first shut-down of the day. In the event of a power outage, the clock and date will automatically be reset when power is restored. The PV-C2022 also features Alarm Clock with Video/TV On-Timer, 30/60/90 Minute Sleep Timer and Wake-up Alarm. With A/V input jacks on the front of the unit, the process of connecting your camcorder or other video equipment is simplified. The Time Stamp feature helps you to easily recognize the programs that you have recorded on a particular tape. When activated, it automatically tags the beginning of each new recording and displays, on screen, the starting date and time, ending time and channel of the program being recorded. Program End Search feature lets you find the end of a recorded program without repeated button pushing and guesswork. By pressing the "Search" button twice on the remote control, you can choose "Program End Search" from the on-screen menu to help you find the desired tape location. The PV-C2022 also provides a trilingual on-screen display and shows tape status.
