Panasonic TC-P46G10

Despite poor energy performance and often-bulky builds—and rumors to the contrary—plasma lives. And for good reason—even the top LCD and LED-backlit HDTVs can't match the deep blacks and wide viewing angles that plasma provides. One of Panasonic's most...

Excellent black level performance. Very high contrast ratio. Color and contrast maintained up to a 170-degree viewing angle. Good audio quality. Auto-shut-off option when TV is idle. Supports HDMI-CEC

Poor energy efficiency when compared with LCD models. 3 HDMI ports (one is side-mounted). Only Channel and Volume controls are backlit on remote

If top-notch picture quality is more important to you than low energy consumption (and you can't wait for this year's new TV models), Panasonic's 46-inch TC-P46G10 is a no-brainer.

Panasonic TC-P50G10 Plasma HDTV Review - Intro

The Panasonic TC-P50G10 is a 50-inch, 1080p plasma TV that retails for $1599 (MSRP). That's not a cheap TV, even though you're buying a lot of screen real estate. Is it worth it? Generally, we were impressed with the video performance, but the big...

The Panasonic TC-P50G10 is not a top-performer. It's special features are rather modest compared to some of the more expensive models. But neither is it an entry-level TV that's guaranteed to underwhelm. The G10 series is somewhere in the middle, with...

Panasonic TC-PG10 review: Panasonic TC-PG10

Superb black-level performance with excellent shadow detail; highly accurate primary colors and grayscale in THX mode; great color saturation; uses less power than previous 1080p plasmas; VieraCast provides access to select Internet services.

Less-accurate secondary colors of magenta and cyan; slight yellowish tinge and limited light output in THX mode; skimpy picture controls; still less efficient than comparable LCDs.

Panasonic's 54-inch TC-P54G10 offers superb image quality, plenty of features, and great value, making a strong bid for your big-screen buck.

Panasonic's THX-Certified Stunner Takes the Plasma Screen Crown

Dry your eyes, plasma junkies. The untimely demise of Pioneer's Kuro line doesn't mean you'll have to forgo those deliciously deep blacks and theater-perfect colors for long. In fact, even as the last of the Pioneer Kuro Elites make their way into a...

The Panasonic TC-P54G10 is a 54-inch plasma that will be available this May. At 2 inches it's double the width of the TC-P54Z1, but we're sure that many will still be impressed by the thickness. The TC-P54G10's key features is support for Panasonic's...

Review of Panasonic TC-P46G10 Plasma Television

Panasonic is one of the few manufacturers still dedicated to making plasma televisions , but I believe it's too early to sound a death knell for the technology. The Panasonic TC-P46G10 proves that plasma is still a winner with a beautiful, film-like...

Smooth film-like images and nice, deep black levels, THX certified display, 600Hz refresh rate to prevent motion blur, Direct access to YouTube, Amazon Video on Demand and other Web-based content, On board photo viewer, Easy setup

Stock sound sometimes distorts, Viera Cast Internet content is somewhat limited, If more manufacturer’s abandon plasma, you could be left with old technology within a few years
