Panasonic TC-L42D30 Review – 42-inch LED LCD HDTV

Surprisingly, Panasonic has made this model a sole entry in the D30 series. The next important thing is that this set does not have the 3D technology in it. Although the manufacturer has made sure that there are plenty of features to keep you busy, yet...

Panasonic is also well known for its Viera Image Viewer feature which has been included in this model too. You can view movies recorded on a SD card and also watch JPEG still pictures in it. DLNA connectivity has been provided along with Viera Link....

Panasonic TC-L42D30

In the end, while the Panasonic TC-L42D30 has the smallest screen of all the LED TVs on our lineup, it still ranks above some TVs with larger screens because of its superior display specifications, including its contrast ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Panasonic TC-L42D30 has an abnormally high contrast ratio for its size

Panasonic doesn't offer a warranty, and the screen is only 42 inches wide

If you don't mind a smaller screen, this Panasonic LED TV delivers a beautiful picture.

Poor HDMI compliance. May not work on your devices

I bought the Panasonic because I thought the big brand name would ensure no problems. Far from it, I was surprised to learn (the hard way) that Vivera actually means some kind of proprietary HDMI communications. It seems the folks at Panasonic like to...

Outstanding Living Room TV

Have owned for 6 months now and very happy with this television! This is our first big screen HDTV. 42" is a nice size without overwhelming the room. The aesthetics of this unit are excellent, thin bezel, classy and looks expensive, so many look...

Nice sized trim.
