This plasma was a great buy. As to be expected with a Panasonic, the colors are vibrant and lifelike and the blacks are powerful, unlike back-lit LCDs in the same price range.

Got what I expected. No surprises. Already owned 1080 and cant see much difference. So far, so good.

This is my first flat screen tv. My motivation for purchasing it? The 2011 NCAA Women's basketball championship. I wanted a tv that would allow me to connect my laptop and watch ESPN3.com. This tv allowed me to do that.
