Panasonic TC-P60ST50

Editors' note, April 17, 2013: The replacement for this TV, the Panasonic TC-PST60 series , earned an even higher rating as well as our latest Editors' Choice award. This review has not been otherwise modified or updated beyond this note.

The affordable Panasonic TC-PST50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb...

The ST50 uses more power than competing LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't come with 3D glasses, and it showed more crosstalk in 3D than some competing TVs. The ST50 is only available in 50-inch...

With flagship-level picture quality for a midlevel price, the Panasonic ST50 series sets the value standard among videophile-grade TVs.

Panasonic TC-P60ST50 Review – 60-inch Plasma HDTV

The 60-inch plasma TV model comes with the smart networking and connectivity features offered by other advanced models launched by Panasonic. But the manufacturer has attached a low and affordable price-tag to the TV set. It also offers the set of...

The model also allows users to connect their TV set with internet without using any networking wires and cables. Along with the wireless networking options, the TV set also come with a web browser and VIERA Connect internet suite support. You can use...

Panasonic ST50 P60ST50A

Panasonic has entered the Smart TV war armed with Neo Plasma technology, but have they given their TV enough weapon artillery to take on Samsung and LG?

Exceptional colour articulation; Intuitive smartphone app

Unattractive; Poorly structured menu

"Our last Panasonic purchase ever!"

Within two months of purchase we had a pink horizontal line on the TV and USB overload issues. The repair person told us that Panasonic have had plasma screens issues with this model. I called customer service to complain about the USB issues but they...

Price was affordable since we bought it on sale.

USB overload issues. Can't read more than 32GB.

"Magnificent HDTV"

This is my third HDTV and the best picture by far. I find the apps intuitive and easier to use than some other devices I own. Setup was a breeze. Wi fi is fast on my dual-band router... maybe 2-3 seconds of buffer for Netflix. Have it wall mounted and...

Big screen. Great picture. Built in, quick, wi-fi. I also have a full-array LCD that has a great picture, but this Panny plasma beats it pretty easily IMO. And the price is nice.

None really. I didn't like the ambient light sensor so I turned it off - which is actually a pro that they gave you the option. :)

recently purchased this tv from my local Video Only store in Tukwila Wa. First of all I owned the tcp58v10 and enjoyed every moment of it,however I wanted 3D and internet options, so after doing the research I decided on the Tcp60st50. I was determined...

Black Levels, motion, contrast, apps

Is too good to be true

"Fantastic picture...has a little buzz"

After around 20 or so hours it has started the ever so popular buzz. It's not so distracting that you can't hear the TV...but I could see myself watching a movie and during some intense quiet parts it being annoying.

Amazing picture clarity

a crazy little thing called: buzz

Wow That's a picture!

Works perfectly and the picture is every bit as good as CNET says. Went from a 65" DLP to this 60" model and don't miss it at all.
