Panasonic TC-P65GT50

If you're shopping for a 2012 TV and picture quality is your highest priority you should, in ascending order of financial recklessness, get a good plasma, splurge for an Elite or wait and buy an OL ED . If getting the best picture for your money is...

The Panasonic TC-PGT50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb off-angle...

The GT50 isn't as strong a value as some competing plasmas. It uses more power than LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't come with 3D glasses. The GT50 is only available in 50-inch and larger sizes.

Superb picture quality and beautiful design place the Panasonic GT50 in the top tier of plasma TVs, but it's more expensive than others with similar performance.

Panasonic Viera TC-P65GT50

The Panasonic GT50 plasma series, debuting at CES, offers few buzz-worthy elements. Well… that it to say that it has all of last year's buzzy features (3D, Skype, etc.), just rehashed for 2012 with minor improvements. That's not enough to dissuade our...

The Panasonic GT50 series continues a solid tradition of plasma TVs from the venerable manufacturer. We expect good, if not very good, picture quality. The baseline performance from the last two years of GT televisions has been strong, so any...

You will also like the input options included in the plasma TV design. The model comes with a set of HDMI and USB ports that can be used by the viewers to access their offline collection of music, movies, photos and video clips. A Blu-ray or DVD player...

Excellent picture and features.

You just can't beat the Panasonic plasma tvs. The GT has a gorgeous picture with rich blacks and vibrant colors. The extra features such as Netflix and Internet capabilities means you don't have to leave your chair to check emails, etc. Inputting your...

Easy to carry and setup. Nice remote with great button placement

Sound quality. The plasma TVs are so thin it's hard to get a quality speaker in there, we use a surround system

Would buy this one again and again.

Great buy, great picture. I used several web sites to come up with the best picture setting. Couldn't be happier with the TV and with BuyDig. This is my 3rd big purchase from BuyDig. Terrific company to deal with. Have read some folks didn't like the...

Picture over rated by far

Bought this on a cnet review and boy were those guys way off. I am a VERY discerning audio/videofile and couldn't have been more dissapointed. Had TV 2 months and NEVER was satisfied with its dim blurry slow processing and lack of any punch. Had it...

Functionality

Constant adjustment of picture. Does NOT do 480 or even Dish guide well

Nice TV, questionable White Glove value

The TV sports a very nice design and weighed less than the 55" it was replacing. Setup was straightforward though the short, component cable hookup was a little odd. The infinite number of picture and audio setup options should please even the pickiest...

GOOD PICTURE ; Infinite Tweaking Option ; Nice Quality Tv ; Slick Internet

Cheesy Component Cable ; Needs a keyboard ; No 3-d Glasses

blows other tv's away

I was like a couple of other posters in that I bought several tv's before finding the right one--the Panasonic 65" GT50. Please note that I have not reviewed the 3D feature as I just can't get into wearing any sort of glasses to watch tv or movies or...
