Panasonic TC-PGT50 review: Panasonic TC-PGT50

The Panasonic TC-PGT50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb off-angle...

The GT50 isn't as strong a value as some competing plasmas. It uses more power than LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't come with 3D glasses. The GT50 is only available in 50-inch and larger sizes.

Superb picture quality and beautiful design place the Panasonic GT50 in the top tier of plasma TVs, but it's more expensive than others with similar performance.

Panasonic Viera TC-P65GT50

The Panasonic GT50 plasma series, debuting at CES, offers few buzz-worthy elements. Well… that it to say that it has all of last year's buzzy features (3D, Skype, etc.), just rehashed for 2012 with minor improvements. That's not enough to dissuade our...

The Panasonic GT50 series continues a solid tradition of plasma TVs from the venerable manufacturer. We expect good, if not very good, picture quality. The baseline performance from the last two years of GT televisions has been strong, so any...

Panasonic TC-P65GT50 Review – 65-inch Plasma HDTV

The model is designed by Panasonic as a multi-purpose device. The overall features and functionalities of the TV set also allow viewers to use it just like a desktop computer. Along with sporting a slim and stylish design, the model also comes with a...

You will also like the input options included in the plasma TV design. The model comes with a set of HDMI and USB ports that can be used by the viewers to access their offline collection of music, movies, photos and video clips. A Blu-ray or DVD player...

An Outstanding TV

So far so good. I've used the TV heavily for the past several days and it has been amazing. Unlike the previous reviewer, I have had zero issues with image retention. After dialing in the picture settings from cnet and calibrating with a Disney WOW...

Extremely deep blacks, near perfect color accuracy, very thin design, no image retention or burn-in issues

Typical flat panel TV speakers; adequate output but not much low end extension, You will have to endure the envy of friends and family

Stunning picture, with a large caveat

Last month my wife finally agreed to let me purchase a new HDTV. After doing an obsessive amount of research I settled on this model. Being that this is a plasma TV, and knowing of the "burn-in" issues in the past, I made sure to read quite a bit about...

Wonderful picture, plenty of options

Would buy this one again and again.

Great buy, great picture. I used several web sites to come up with the best picture setting. Couldn't be happier with the TV and with BuyDig. This is my 3rd big purchase from BuyDig. Terrific company to deal with. Have read some folks didn't like the...

Nice TV, questionable White Glove value

The TV sports a very nice design and weighed less than the 55" it was replacing. Setup was straightforward though the short, component cable hookup was a little odd. The infinite number of picture and audio setup options should please even the pickiest...

GOOD PICTURE ; Infinite Tweaking Option ; Nice Quality Tv ; Slick Internet

Cheesy Component Cable ; Needs a keyboard ; No 3-d Glasses
