Panasonic Viera TC-P65ST50

Panasonic Viera ST50 series information: Our review of the Panasonic P50ST50 is based on hands-on experience with the smaller 55-inch P50ST50 model. Apart from screen size, Panasonic states that all models have the same features, capabilities and...

Outstanding black level and contrast performance ; Great brightness ; Nearly perfect color ; Naturally smooth motion ; Excellent Internet portal (Viera Connect)

Black levels suffer in bright rooms ; Limited HDMI connections, no PC input ; High power consumption, high heat output ; Calibration takes a while

Based on picture performance alone, this could just as well be Panasonic’s flagship model.

Panasonic TC-P65ST50

With the Panasonic TC-PST50 series you get accurate colors and solid black level performance in a nicely styled plasma HDTV, but the panel doesn?t get very bright, and 3D glasses are not part of the deal.

Excellent color accuracy. Good black levels. Robust audio output. Sleek design

Not very bright. Uses lots of power. Only three HDMI ports. 3D glasses not included

The Panasonic P55ST50 is a tastefully designed 55-inch plasma HDTV that delivers very accurate colors, deep dark blacks, and wide off-angle viewing. Its $1,700 price tag is not unreasonable considering its performance, but you'll end up spending around...

Panasonic TC-P65ST50

Editors' note, April 17, 2013: The replacement for this TV, the Panasonic TC-PST60 series , earned an even higher rating as well as our latest Editors' Choice award. This review has not been otherwise modified or updated beyond this note.

The affordable Panasonic TC-PST50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb...

The ST50 uses more power than competing LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't come with 3D glasses, and it showed more crosstalk in 3D than some competing TVs. The ST50 is only available in 50-inch...

With flagship-level picture quality for a midlevel price, the Panasonic ST50 series sets the value standard among videophile-grade TVs.

Panasonic TC-P65ST50 Review – 65-inch Plasma HDTV

The plasma TV set comes with a set of features and specifications to suit the entertainment need of a modern family. Along with the support for traditional, 2D and 3D digital content, the model also offers a set of improved networking and connectivity...

However, the number of HDMI and USB ports offered by the models is lower in comparison to the other input ports and terminals included in other plasma TV models. But these input terminals and ports along with the SD memory card slots allow you to...

Panasonic TX-P65ST50

Great value, full spec despite price, superb black levels and bright colours, excellent HD tuner

Only a hint of noise and motion instability at times

Best 60in+ TV, Awards 2012. Superb value for money, this is a monstrous set that produces a premium picture with standard- and high-definition content

Say hello to our not-so-little friend.

Brilliant 2D picture performance ; Outstandingly good value ; Good online system

Not an ideal option for a very bright room ; Reflective screen front ; Minor crosstalk and floating black levels with 3D
