Panasonic TX-37 LZD 70 F

The LCD display is at the forefront of its class with its broad viewing angle; All the main features are catered for; Easy day-to-day operation

The Panasonic colors are not spot-on; There is some judder with 24p-format material

This Panasonic LCD really adds up to something when you consider its strong picture (even when viewed side-on), easy operation and practical feature-set. Its only irritating weakness is the rather average color reproduction.

The IPS ALPHA panel in the TX-37LZD70 allows you to view the screen from really wide viewing angles

Low price ; Good connectivity ; Solid audio

Weak black levels

This new panel allows you to view the screen from really wide viewing angles without the drop off in colour and contrast that usually plagues LCD technology

Panasonic Viera TX-37LZD70 37in LCD TV

Panasonic ups the ceiling on its LCD TVs with this 37in Full HD model.

I can understand why Panasonic has decided to come to market with a 37in Full HD LCD TV, but unfortunately the TX-37LZD70 lacks some of the key features sported by its competitors. The lack of 1080p 24Hz may have been acceptable six months ago, but...

Panasonic TX-37LZD70 review

Having long proclaimed that plasma is the only technology worth using on large flat TVs, Panasonic's first ever 37-inch LCD, the Panasonic TX-37LZD70, is a generally solid, sometimes spectacular, effort. But while it stands up well versus many other...

Excellent HD sharpness ; Remarkably clean pictures ; Plenty of features ; Fair price

Black levels could be better ; Some colours feel a touch muted

Conclusion When the 37LZD70's pictures are good, they're really quite excellent. It's just a shame that these good times only tend to roll when the picture content is uniformly bright and colourful -- especially when Panasonic's own 37-inch plasma...

Panasonic's largest LCD is also the company's smallest screen to offer Full HD performance. It's a cracking combination

Great all-round performance, attractive spec and a decent price – clearly, Panasonic's got this one right

Panasonic TX-37LZD70

One of the best sub 40in LCD TV's currently available ..

The Panasonic TX-37LZD70 raises the bar for LCD performance, and if High Definition sources were prevalent we would say that this screen would quite possibly be the best money could buy. As it is, for most of us, the majority of our viewing is in...

We are so lucky to witness the technical progress in the last ten years. One of them is the LCD TVs and especially the Panasonic one, which comes with so many futures. The Panasonic 37" is the best one according to "WHICH" magazine as well. Go and get...
