Panasonic is still the best Rear Projection TV on the market without a doubt. Of course these won't compare with plasmas but look at the price difference. For nearly 4K less, this is still by far the better option (at least until plasmas & LCD screens...

Probably the best screen available on any rear projection TV. Even better than Sony and Toshiba. I checked out every brand in three cities before buying this. The best for screen luminosity, viewing angles, contrast, PIP etc. Fast motion sports etc...

There is a 100GHz resolution feature that doesn't appear to make anything better so I am at a loss to see why it is so heavily featured on the advertising for this TV. It may be than I am getting HD quality cable images (fibre optic) so maybe I can't...
