Panasonic TX-L37DT30

During 2010 Panasonic quickly made a name for itself - and plasma technology in general - with a string of high-end 3DTVs that supplied stunning depth and comfortable viewing. That's not what happened on the LCD/LED side of the market, where quality...

Viera Connect, contrast, 2D detail, Freesat HD & Freeview HD, 3D Ready

3D glasses not included, wired LAN only

Panasonic’s first toe in the 3D LED water brings a torrent of quality; sublime and clean 3D in the dark is married to all-round picture goodness in 2D. Our only worry is its lack of Wi-Fi and the fact that it’s harder to get fully immersed in a 37-inch...

Excellent edge LED TV with BBC iPlayer plus built-in Freeview/Freesat HD tuners

Freesat HD & Freeview HD ; Detailed 2D Blu-ray images ; Digital TV picture quality ; Precise 3D in a blackout ; Contrast ratio

3D glasses not included ; Wi-Fi dongle costs extra

In some ways this 37-inch LED-backlit TV is all about convenience. We know – and Panasonic surely does, too – that 3D is much more impressive on bigscreen plasmas that hover around 50-inches.

Panasonic TX-L32DT30B review

An active 3D LCD TV with impressive multimedia options, but is 32-inches too small?

Class-leading 3D performance ; Good build quality ; Decent 2D performance ; Impressive connectivity, multimedia and online features ; Respectable audio quality

Difficulties getting black levels and motion control right ; Very expensive ; Cumbersome Viera Connect interface

The Panasonic TX-L32DT30B is Panasonic's first LCD TV to carry active 3D playback. This is a significant development from a brand that's only previously only bestowed this honour upon its beloved plasma screens.

Panasonic TX-L37DT30

Can the L37DT30 do justice to 3D programming where its smaller counterparts fell short? We take a look.

The best LCD 3D pictures yet, Excellent features, Mostly good 2D pictures

It’s difficult to get a convincingly good contrast, Panel innovations make it a touch expensive, A bigger screen would give more 3D impact

Panasonic TX-L32DT30 review

The Panasonic TX-L32DT30 has the best 3D picture we've seen on a 32in television

Full spec ; class-leading 3D images ; solid HD tuners ; solid black levels

Picture lacks contrast and sense of depth at times ; expensive.

If you’re prepared to pay the money for 3D performance, this is the way to go

Panasonic Viera TX-L32DT30B

Panasonic finally brings 3D to an LCD TV. And immediately shows the rest how it should be done.

Best LCD 3D performance yet, Excellent multimedia functionality, Good sound quality

Screen a bit small for maximum 3D impact, New panel design makes it expensive, Some contrast concerns

Panasonic TX-L37DT30 review

Panasonic produces a class-leading 37in set, in picture performance and functionality

Stunning picture quality ; good sound ; excellent specification ; value

You can buy a larger TV for this money ; 3D glasses are costly

This was a favourite at £1200, so at this price it's a steal

Panasonic Viera TX-L32DT30B review

The image quality is stunning and 3D handled brilliantly, but this is a lot of money to spend on a 32in TV, 3D or not.

Panasonic TXL37DT30B

Smaller and thinner than previous 32" model Has both Freesat and Freeview HD tuners Excellent picture and sound quality Additional features over older models very useful

Some facilities are a little awkward to operate 3D viewing requires additional glasses which become tedious after extended wear
