Panasonic TX-L32E5B review

Smart looks, smart pictures and smart TV on this Edge LED stunner

Wide viewing angle ; Contrast & colour ; FLAC music support ; Versatile pictures ; Engaging smart TV

Some LED leakage ; Lacklustre Freeview EPG ; Wired LAN only ; MKV via USB only

Achieving greatness with almost all sources, and with no discernable weaknesses in the picture department, it's left to the TX-L37E5B to assert its all-round worthiness with some engaging smart TV shenanigans and reliable handling of digital files.

Great value if you're not fussed about 3D

Good low-light detail; fine contrast; minimal noise; plenty of smart features

Not the best sound quality; warm picture tone might not be to everyone’s taste

The TX-L32E5 faces some tough competition from similarly priced TVs. The Samsung ES5500 (also £400) has an altogether different character and a few more frills, such as 3D.
